on june 13, 1997, a mother gave birth to jung jinsoul. as jinsoul grew up, it was only memories in the orphanage she stayed at. didn't know her real mother or fatehr. it was already hard enough for her, she would always be the last one to get food, was she really that different? well, jinsoul was quite the troublemaker and a loner. she tried escaping at least 15+ times, not until she found a friend. they both wanted to escape together, so they planned it all out once they were both sixteen. they did everything together; even getting in trouble together. what about being adopted? they made sure they were troubled enough to not get adopted. it was finally time to escape, believe it or not but they escaped. within those years they would steal some money from their peers. they both ran far away from the orphanage. finding shelter and some food from a gas station. on jinsoul's eighteenth bithday, her only friend confessed that she liked jinsoul and she wanted to be with her forever. jinsoul also had feelings for her, but it wasn't love, it was friendship. the only thing jinsoul did was reject her friend. it was awkward ever since, when jinsoul came home from work one day, she broke down. her friend had hung herself, there was left a note for jinsoul though. it said, "dear jinsoul, i'm leaving. i'm not happy here. after i confessed i started drinking often. this isn't easy , but i was . i didn't tell you because i didn't want you to worry for me. you were already busy with other things and stressed out about work. i couldn't help you. i was weak. i'm worthless. to make things easier for you, i'm taking my leave. i love you." of course that made jinsoul depressed, she couldn't stay in there so she moved. discovering a ghost town, it was perfect. she can change into a new person. jinsoul found a stable shelter for the time being, though she dyed her hair blonde. there was this aura in the town, it felt like it was home. a new beginning, burying the past.
