my life,

adopted from the slums of china into a family in quebec city, canada, is simply put — life changing. he was about four years old when he finally met his longtime parents. fortunately for him, his adoptive father was of chinese descent but he still had to be taught french and english. and, above all, adapt to his new surroundings. thankfully, his parents looked after him with undoubted kindness and grace. despite his academics a little lacking, he excelled in extracurricular activities such as music, writing, and art - his favorite medium being painting. just as his parents expected, he had tremendous potential and they were happy enough to help him discover it.

after he graduated from high school, he was accepted in a university in chicago involving the arts. so he packed his belongings and dorm to further his dream - or so he taught. as soon as his parents sent him his allowance, his money instantaneously disappeared. it's mostly due to getting in line with scammers and robbers; his situational awareness isn't up to par as his parents hoped. because of his guilt, he dropped out of the university without their knowledge and focused on launching his music career instead.

as a way to earn some money, he obtained a job in a local cafe and downloaded the sos app as his last resort. he currently rooms in a close friends' apartment as a... long time guest.

just me,

traditional, a bit of a hothead, yet sensitive and considerate, sicheng is an up and down roller coaster to strangers and even people close to him. his personality online might deceive others from thinking he was someone completely shy and insecure. instead, he could be very loud, especially in topics he's passionate about, and sure of himself, maybe a little too much so, despite developing some trust issues.

fact of the matter is that he can be awkward but after a conversation with some coffee mixed in, he'll be chiming his opinions whether you like it or not.
