details: Fan Chengcheng grew up in a small one bedroom home with his single mother. She was a kind lady who was kind to everyone, yet others weren't particularly kind in return. His mother had found him when she was just seventeen years old, he was a newborn, abandoned in a ditch in the countryside by whoever had birthed him. He would never know who his real parents were, where he had come from, or his origins. All he knew was that as he grew up in a little home, tucked in the corner of a street that was run down, was that his mother loved him. Everyone looked down on her, thinking that she must have seduced someone who was married or she was attacked as a young girl. No men showed interest in her, and as Cheng grew up, he felt regretful thinking that it was his fault that his mother was alone. She never treated him like he was holding her back, never made him feel like she loved him any less than other parents loved their real kids. They may have had very little means to live but she made sure they had food on the table, a home and clothes. Cheng adored her, toddling after her, calling Momma, at the top of his lungs as a young toddler. Growing up, however, he saw the way people looked at that. Saw the lack of respect on their faces and it hurt him to no end that she had to suffer the judgment and ridicule of others when in-kind she was sweet and giving. Cheng when he turned eighteen left home with his mother's blessing and moved to the city in search of work. He lived in a tiny hostel that was only equipped with a small room with enough space for a bed and a desk attached to the wall. He had a mini fridge stored under the desk so that the others who lived in the hostel wouldn't eat all of his food. He worked as both a delivery boy for a local restaurant and a house cleaner. They were laborious jobs that didn't offer too much in terms of pay but he was saving up for something worthwhile in his mind. He wanted to get his mother out of their tiny home and give her a life she deserved. It wouldn't be until after that he would be able to focus on himself. He knew what he wanted once he reached his goal. He wanted to work as a kindergarten teacher, helping to raise children into better people in their messed up society. He wanted to contribute and be a meaningful member of society.
personality
details: Cheng is a bit shy at first and falters at the beginning of friendships because he's not sure how he's supposed to interact with others. However, he's very kind and would probably do most things people were to ask of him. He smiles a lot, he is easily amused and the way to his heart whether it be friendship or anything is usually through food. His hobbies are reading, AND EATING SWEETS. He is afraid of the dark and spiders, however, he thrives from physical affection like hugging and snugglinG. hE BELIEVES IN ACCEPTING OTHERS FOR WHO THEY ARE, IT DOESN'T MATTER IF OTHERS JUDGE HIM FOR HIS CHOICES, cHENG IS cHENG AND HE WILL LOVE HIMSELF FOR WHO HE IS, AS HIS MOTHER TAUGHT HIM TO. He is gentle temperred but can get excitable easily. He is more on the soft side, but is also very nurturing and adoring thus him wanting to be a kindergarten teacher. He just wants to bring smiles to peoples faces.
