it comes to no shock for any that yoongi was born from two pureblood vampire parents. truly, his entire lineage has been vampire, vampire, and oh wait- a little more vampire. though, more into the classicals- some would define his family as the count dracala's of the modern world. rather clingly to themselves and enterning in petty affairs is considering damning for his kind. though, there is the assumption that lingers on every human and vampires mind: why hasn't the family been corrupted by the infection and to that- yoongi doesn't have the true answer too. he should be blood-thirsty, he should want to crave the blood and be the very thing that humans fear- a monster, yet here he is, doing everything but that. surely, limitations have be created for the shame that lingers from the infection but he's sure he always wanted to a human dry even without the thing riddled in his blood.

 

he never wanted to see humans distraught. it was never his goal or intention. seeing the fear the dripped from their voices and eyes like saucers, was a sense of punishment. the 'min' family are too good to be blood-thirsty creatures. no, the 'min' family should be the human protectors. the ones to defend these humans and even partake on the task of hunting the vampires who had went off. and though, he knows a good portion of vampires hate him for abandoning his race to protect morals; something weaker, yet it was his divine duty to do so. then, there's the fact that humans hate him. there's lack of trust because who knows if he would ever get infected even if those times have long since pass. in a sense, he was between a rock and a hard place, unable to offer true assistance so rather becoming dependent, this was the first lesson of independence.

 

thankfully, with his associates in the field, he could still recieve donated blood bags. in very few ocassions, feeding off from other vampires (even when it tasted like venom) and some humans (never enough to them dry). he learned enough is enough when human's blood and learned to stop other vampires from becoming a true monster. a pitiful story to remind you: he had to see a child, a human child, being drained of her blood at an age of five or six right before his eyes. and though, it sent tingles down his body (eyes glimmering red, teeth sharpen and poised to attack, his heart beating a million beats per minute-- everything telling him to steal the man's prey but) he stops the man. rips him to shred only to comeback with a blood ridden shirt back to his home. it's the first time he learns discipline from his parents.

 

and though that had brought a shred of shame from his family, there was a hint of pride in his father's eyes that had yoongi's eyes droop. a hunter, they say. seeker of justice, he says. all the same to a family with rules and laws that define the household. it didn't take too long for yoongi to be accepted into 'pro bono'. a hidden group in which he can discuss information with all the 'good' vampires. they taught him everything he knows to this very day. how to hunt. how to think. how to react. to this day, these disciplines are followed to a t. this is his new law. 

independent. there's a warmth about being alone and able to solve things by yourself without needing someone's assistance. he was always bad with humans and vampires anyways. never able to cojoin both races and make amends. though, those are only to the humans who he had told that he was a vampire. usually, he prefers to say that he is human so many could underestimae his ability and as well gain some form of trust with the other humans. especially those with hunter status. snarky. he finds it easy to taunt then rather confront the actual problem. words that are too sharp and fork-tongued then the majority of his audience can handle. some would even say that goes along with his quick-witted remarks. extremely sharp and ready with his dry humor especially when working with other individuals during hunts. there's also patienceness that he learned throughout time especially when he was dealing with his parents and his auidence. this is something needed for hunts as well. futhermore, a minor case of ocd as everything needs to be done in the order that he wants it done. in other words: detail-oriented.
