Mark lee could be described as a typical rich boy who only lives off of mommy and daddy's money. But that's not just him. If you knew mark, you'd know he is a very sweet guy who just wants the best for the people he loves and cares about. Mark comes from a family of successful people. His father being a very high ranking judge and his mother being a ceo and his older brother being a lawyer, making mark very well known around canada AND korea. From the outside, their family seemed very happy but they weren't happy at all. His father and mother were both cheating on each other but they were scared to get divorced since they thought it might damage their careers so they stay together for the sake of their careers and not for the two sons they have.

All of mark's life, he has been told how great and how successful his brother was. mARK GOT TIRED OF HEARING HOW HE SHOULD BE MORE LIKE HIS BROTHER. SCHOOL WAS ALREADY STRESSFUL TO HIM, NOT TO MENTION HIS PARENTS BASICALLY EMOTIONALLY ABUSING HIM, TELLING HIM HOW HE IS NOT AS GOOD AS HIS BROTHER AND THAt his brother was simply born lucky, and how mark was lucky to be born. All of the abuse eventually broke mark and he got mixed in with the wrong crowd. He started drinking alcohol and began doing drugs as well. At first all he did was weed, but it slowly moved up to heroin, , speed and he ended up addicted. His parents were ashamed of him, to have a son who was addicted to drugs was a disgrace to him. They shunned him and forced him to go into rehab or they would disown him. It took mark a lot of time and a lot of strength to eventually kick the habit of using drugs away.

 

One day Mark came home with a folder of BMSU in hand. His parents immediately told him he had to apply for it and enroll in that school. His older brother had went to the same school and his parents thought that if mark would do the same, he'd follow in his brother's footsteps and not be a failure to them. Mark was quick to refuse, proudly telling his parents that he already went ahead and found a perfect university for him to enroll in, a university where they focused on music, a thing he really wanted to major in. But his parents quickly shut him down, forcing him to join BSMU just because his brother used to go to the same school. Mark wanted to protest against it but his parents gave him two options. Either go to BSMU or get disowned for already shaming the family. 

 

Eventually mark did join BMSU but only under one condition, he got to choose what to major in. His parents were hesitant at first but they reluctantly agreed just to make sure he would enroll into BSMU. oN TOP OF THAT, mARK ALSO GETS PAID EVERY MONTH JUST TO MAKE SURE HE DOESN'T ACTUALLY LEAVE BSMU BUT HIS PARENTS DIDN'T NEED TO KNOW THAT HE WAS ACTUALLY ENJOYING HIS TIME NOW.
