joshua, better known as hong jisoo was born and raised in the heart of zootopia with his huge family. you know what they say about the breeding habits of rabbits? Well, it was proven to be true, especially since his family and extended family were reaching 30-40 in number. however, not everything was rainbows and sunshine in his life. the reason his family as extended as it is was due to his father leaving behind him, his mother and siblings to live with his new wife; leaving his own family in poverty. his mother struggled to work three jobs to support the family along with his father's allowance provision, while the kids grew up to be responsible citizens. joshua initially wanted to take up a career that was on the "tough" side, for example: a police officer, but instead resorted to floristry, his true passion.
he despised that he was born a prey, especially since he felt weak and unable to defend himself and his family properly; hence he developed his sharp tongue. joshua strongly believed that saying the right words at the right time would be able to solve any problem with ease, better that brute force. his comebacks normally worked wonders, if it weren't for his innocence and obliviousness taking over certain situations. he secretly enjoys arguing with people as long as they both realise that it's just harmless banter, and also enjoys the soft side of things, such as cuddles and warmth. above all, joshua holds onto his values, which is loyalty above anything else. after his father's betrayal, joshua vowed to never be anything like him. joshua can also be stubborn about his opinions and will never desert his companions or family in their time of need.
