Minji comes from a respected but not famous witch family. Not a lot of people know Minji's existence due to her being a child that was born out of wedlock. She's been shunned out by the only family she's ever known but there's always a glint of hope in her eyes for the future. The girl is skilled in magical abilities since a young age but perhaps due to her childhood, she has a harder time to properly control them. Take her red hair for example - the first time she ever held a wand and this was the result.

When she enrolled into the academy, her name was thrown around as students wondered who in the world was she and which family did she come from. Introducing herself as Kim Jiu fed them enough to keep their eyes off of her - no one needed to know who she truly was, a child that wasn't suppose to be. Though she's known to be friendly all around, her secrets are kept to herself and only told by those she trust.

All around her, Minji had always been ridiculed and terribly abused by her so called 'family' so one wonders how she's still able to go about her day with a smile on her face. Her only weakness is that she yearns to be acknowledge and loved by anyone - hoping to gain some assurance in her existence. She calls herself 'Jiu' or 'lilly' and highly prefers other to do so - don't ask her why, she most definitely won't tell you.
