home. what is a home? born into a family of black werewolves, ten being the only beta while his sister and father were alphas, he felt a little out of place. his mother was an omega but passed away long ago. as the heir to the throne, the weight on his shoulders felt heavier with every step he took and the stares of the people felt like knives on his back with every word he let out from his lips. he didn't want to be king and often found himself slacking off when it came to simple tasks and duties that he had to do in preparation of his future position. on the other hand, his sister would die to be the heir to the throne. the envious glares from his sister will always bring shivers down his spine. the two never got along and always fought but ten didn't hate her. he simply couldn't. sadly, his sister didn't feel the same for she loathed him and wanted him gone 'cause then she'd have a chance at the throne. one night, she decided to take matters into her own hands and attempted to murder her brother. creeping onto his bed with her claws grabbing at the linen that was draped around the bed posts, she pulled the cloth away to reveal an empty bed. suddenly, she felt claws grab onto her from behind. on reflex, she began to attack the unknown werewolf who held her which turned out to be, unsurprisingly, ten. the two battled, although it was more of her attacking him while he defended himself but in the end, as self defense, ten ended up killing his beloved sister. killing the princess definitely had a price to pay, despite him being the prince so he did what he could only think of was the easiest to do— he ran away.

his legs brought him far away from his kingdom and to an entirely different one. exhausted and feeling himself transforming back, he fell to the ground. morning came and ten woke up in a foreign house which he soon discovered to be the home of the male who took him in after he spotted him passed out on the ground. ten spent an entire year living with him, the older still unaware of the fact that the foreigner living with him is a werewolf. the night was just about to come, skies darkening as the sun's light began to fade. it was at this time that the male sheltering the prince decided to creep into his room. ten was fast asleep already, tired from working all day at the market. it was the perfect opportunity and the man took it; he held the younger male's wrists above his head an— ten's eyes shot open, blood red irises and dilated pupils. right before the very eyes of his predator, he transformed into a black werewolf for he was no longer his prey. the situation quickly after felt almost familiar but this time, he was the attacker but then again, it was self defense against the elder with the true eyes of a predator. ten attacked with anger and fear and soon enough, blood was once more spilled on the carpet and it was by his hands. and again, he did what he did best— ten ran away.

once more, hopefully for the last time, he reached another kingdom, one smaller than the rest but it felt like home. no, not the home he was born in, the kingdom that forced him into being someone he didn't want to be. it was the home that he felt like he truly belongs in. it was so welcoming and he was happy- truly blissful at this point. he settled in comfortably; a house for two and a job at, again, the market place. he's content with what he has at the moment, though the flashes of the past often haunt him, driving him into a temporary state of madness, fear, guilt and regret, he can still find joy in his current situation.

though ten's life may have been difficult, he remains independent and strong. he knows how to carry himself with maturity but he is clueless of how the world works completely. he should be taught but he hates feeling inferior and small, being belittled is a huge pet peeve for the male. the royal scene is all about power but that isn't what he wants. he believes that one's status and position doesn't equal to their true knowledge. that being said, the prince is passionate about his beliefs and loud when it comes to expressing his thoughts and opinions. when proven wrong, his pride will first not let him back down but soon he will give in. prideful, defensive and sort of aggressive as he is, still, he is sweet and kind. he is generous and always one that will put other before himself, the wellbeing of people around him being of utmost importance to him. though this could play a part in being of high status in royalty certainly, he was never fit to be a prince or a king for his carefree ways weren't right for such a high position. the young male is fun-loving and sometimes, when he wants to be, almost childish. he makes snarky remarks and teases others he knows well often, not knowing when to stop since he get blinded by how fun it is to poke at someone, making their blood boil. ten is hard to deal with, his pride playing a big part in his stubbornness and immaturity but if you're able to handle a child like him, then you're in for a surprise.
