★ mingi grew up in a pretty easy going home.
★ his parents loved each other, and his older brother was decent enough when he was home.
★ honestly, his brother was a total angel when at home, but a troublemaker when away from home.
★ mingi was the angel child.
★ when he was younger, he was bullied in elementary school.
★ he got beat up pretty badly by some older students.
★ because of that, he now has a recurring back problem.
★ his brother beat the living out of everyone involved with what happened to mingi.
★ after that, people knew not to bother him, because his brother was oddly protective of him.
★ it's not like he was popular by any means: if anything, he was kinda average with less than average friends.
★ he went through high school just fine, not really exhibiting any sort of powers yet.
★ if anything, he just thought the usual thing: some days go by really quickly, other days go by really slowly.
★ he didn't think he had any sort of powers, especially since his mother kept her powers a secret from him and his brother (his brother didn't have powers).
★ graduated high school no problem, not really showing any powers.
★ shortly after turning 19, he got a job at the local fitness center.
★ around the end of the year, he was running late to get to his shift.
★ what do you know, the train was just getting ready to close it's doors.
★ mingi raced to catch his train, only to realize that everything was slowing down in the midst of his panic.
★ confused, mingi stopped running to watch as everything moved so slowly.
★ i mean... what the hell, you know? what the hell is happening?
★ as the train doors were sliding shut slowly, mingi watched before deciding to brush it off and slip through the doors.
★ he heard of people with powers. could he be one of them?
★ went through the rest of his day as if nothing happened.
★ when he got home, he explained what happened to his mother.
★ gasp - he figured out that he did have powers, and that he had the ability to manupulate time!
★ for the next week or so, he kept fooling around with his powers, exploring them.
★ his family was getting sick of mingi ing with the time.
★ his mother discovered new heroes academy, and immediately saw to enrolling him at the school.
★ he packed his bags, said goodbye to his family, and then headed off to nha.
★ yay! now he's a student here.

ONE. kind of an oblivious person, but not in a "stupid" kind of way. he just doesn't think before he does something most of the time.

TWO. he has a really deep voice. but don't take that as any sort of descriptor of his personality: he's a real big softy.

THREE. generally curious, sometimes sticks his nose where it doesn't belong.

FOUR. fiercely loyal to those he's close to, even to the point where he would follow someone to the end of the world if he trusted them enough.

FIVE. he loves to read! he gets awfully focused whenever his nose is buried in a book.

SIX. distracted easily, and can go from one thought to another without any real indication of a connection there.

SEVEN. has a passion for dancing, but is afraid to screw up his back any further.

eight. he's not horribly emotionally, but he's not devoid of emotion either. kinda average.

nine. generally, he's a really nice guy, and a sweet soul.

ONE. despite what many people think, he cannot go back in time and change outcomes. he can only rewind time up to 2 hours and can only watch things happen.

TWO. he has a radius for his powers that is dependent on how crowded the area around him is. the more crowded, the smaller the radius. the less crowded, the bigger the radius. however, unless by some magical force, he cannot control all of time. nothing over 15 yard radius.

THREE. he doesn't know he can do this yet, but if he focuses on the things going on around him, he can predict what will happen. though his is only a small precognition ability. he can figure things out like 3 seconds ahead of time.

FOUR. since he hasn't worked on his powers too much, he doesn't know that as long as he focuses on just one thing, he can control only that. right now, all he thinks he can do is affect time within his max radius in the situation.

five. he doesn't know he can do this yet either, but he has an ability to put a loop of a small amount of time on a certain spot. this can last as long as he needs it to, so long as it isn't bothered by someone else (like if someone tries to touch the looped area).
