an angel's tale ╱ background
"my soul, no matter how old,
no matter how much my body perishes,
will always remain with this town,
and protect it until it disappears from existence."
centuries ago, from a time where the heavens were at a war with one another and wrecked havoc upon the world, the flugels were born. they were a race of ancient winged warriors with high magical capacity, created by the god artosh, the father of these angel warriors. many races hated them for their violent tendencies, having been created to fight artosh's wars for him -- this had earned them the name, angels of death, for despite being as beautiful as the angels, they can be just as sinister as the devil.
yeeun is the last and most powerful flugel created by artosh, and she served under him until his demise in the last ancient war from years ago. she was given the gift of imperfection by him, and therefore named, "exceptional unit." every race aknowledged her almost unbeatable strength and her ruthlessness when it came to her enemies. she had been feared by most, and every being that came across her never lived to tell the tale of how majestic yeeun actually was. even her fellow flugels were weary of her, despite them being allies.
loneliness. that's a feeling that yeeun was very familiar with, but she didn't like to admit it. being as stubborn as she was, she merely shut her heart off from the world, and simply carried her orders.
she has fought many wars on her own, defeated many ancient beings -- some with the help of other flugels, but mostly on her own -- yet in the final ancient war, she had been unable to protect their creator, their god. the war ended with mutual defeats with all the races, and with the lost of a god. yeeun, unable to believe that someone as strong as her couldn't protect her master, felt lost. all of flugels felt lost.
without the war, flugels were stripped off of their purpose. fighting was the sole reason why they were alive then -- if the war had ended and there was no one to give them orders anymore... what were they supposed to do?
the flugels then committed mass suicide, deciding that following their master would be their greatest honor in their lives. but yeeun had been unable to follow, because at the same day the flugels decided to kill themselves, she was called by the heavens and had been unable to escape. there, they decided her fate. with as much sins as she carried in her back, she was doomed to a punishment that would forever chain her feet to the ground.
her soul was then bound to magnolia springs at its creation, and she was then appointed as its guard. her heart -- her source of emotions -- was taken away from her, ridding her of her prideful and playful nature, and leaving her with an empty shell. unable to leave magnolia springs without the threat of death lingering around her, she had guarded magnolia springs from its creation up until now.

a winged beauty ╱ personality
yeeun is incredibly empty. one can tell this at first glance. her eyes gleam with the stars of the universe, yet nothing can be seen behind it. she speaks in a polite tone, but her words can be truly sharp and straightforward, uncaring for what the other may feel. she doesn't feel any care or sympathizes with the citizens of magnolia springs. rather, she only considers them as part of her duty, and will protect them if necessary. what she hasn't lost from her previous personality is her unsatiable thirst for knowledge and her high sense of honor. she will never betray those she considers her allies. she is cold to her allies, but even colder to her enemies. she is also incredibly perceptive and calculative, and will not hesitate to use anything to her advantage if such a need arises. she rarely sees someone as her equal, and if she does see you as one, that means you've earned a lifelong ally -- but make no mistake. do not betray her, or your head will off the ground before you know it.

— as a member of the flugel race, she is absolutely immortal, possessing an infinite life span: immune to all diseases, illnesses, disorders, toxins, impurities, and physical/mental interference. she is entirely self-sustained; will never age, and is immune to aging abilities. as the most powerful flugel, her immortality, invulnerability, and regenerative capabilities are vastly superior to any of her kin. even if she were to be fatally wounded, her body will simply regenerate in an extremely fast rate.
— she possesses a limitless level of intellectual and cognitive proficiency that is of the highest level in existence, an extremely high iq and intellectual capacity. she has unlimited storage capacity, as she is able to perform several mental funcitons at once without losing focus on any of them. her mind allows her to instantly recall specific information with incredible speed and perfect accuracy. it is very easy for her to learn something just by seeing it once.
— she has an incredible amount of magical capacity, and is able to use even the most complicated of spells with ease. she is also able to learn and copy spells from her enemies the moment she sees it, so long as she understands the base and concept of the spell. she can imitate it with perfect accuracy, and perhaps even stronger than the original.
