The Blacklight district, known for drawing in the region’s most ruthless inhabitants, has a notorious reputation. Not ideal for a teenager to grow up, but now it’s her new home. Five years of studying under Prince Inguk’s tactics gave her the ability to charm, seduce, and satisfy a variety of clientele, particularly the freedmen.

Travelers come to Central hoping to enhance their social standing and elevate themselves to the elite class. Others are born into inherited royalty. Most slaves came to Main Isle to serve and earn a living, while the commoners and aristocracy reveled in their autonomy. The word’s meaning was lost to her.

Bambi arrived on the doorstep of the chapel as an infant during a winter storm. A man in a white cloak discovered the babe on the shores of Materia highlands and presented her as a blessed omen from the Moon Goddess. Bambi Naka, who was formerly known as Nayami Onigomo, grew up under the care of the Holy staff of the Sainthood, servants of the Lunar Goddess. Their holy guardians were merciless towards disobedient children, punishing them swiftly to make sure they stayed on the “right path.” Nayami felt grateful to be a parlormaid of the Moon Mother, avoiding the brutal purification lessons of the Arch Duke.

It’s no surprise people-appeasing became her favored technique for survival, that is until it backfired.

The Demon of Pride Namvo Morningstar, The crowned ruler of demons hand-selected her among other harlots to attend a summit meeting as entertainment for an infamous pack of wolf pirates. Nayami found herself in a horrifying reality when bells sounded the alarm of a mutiny amongst the crew, causing a brawl among wolf pack members. Chaos erupted throughout the brothel, leading to a gang of wolves cornering and forcing themselves upon her. A juvenile black wolf with black golden spiraled eyes came to her aid, their captain Kwon Jiyong. Defeating his mutineers in combat, he saved the adolescent from yet another ghastly fate. The Captain vanished before the soldiers of Lioncourt De Soureveign stormed the palace.

Terrified, she vowed to forsake prayers to the Gods. She had been nothing but a devoted subordinate of the Divine powers, despite her circumstances. Exhausted from her prayers, falling on deaf ears rendered her with nothing but the festering shame of weakness and crippling hopelessness. Witnessing the devastation inflicted upon her, the Vampire Queen of the Onyx court offered her a second choice to take control of her life.

Once she had taken the queen’s offer to receive the blood gift of the Matriarch, her new life began birth in darkness, becoming a child that night, and a new name, Bambi Naka. The Queen raised her as a handmaid until the monarch noticed Bambi’s natural gift for combat and insatiable hunger for bloodlust. Being a favorite amongst the Queen chamber maids and her son The Prince, she began receiving education, elegant clothing, and shelter. Being promoted, she became the first woman to be named Fang of the sovereign Blood Knights, the Prince’s personal bodyguard.

She served over 150 by her queen’s side until Blood Moon’s, even when she simply disappeared. They never discovered the fate of the Queen Mother of Sovereign. Some believed her to be a victim of political ploy, and diplomacy others believed she had ascended to rejoin the Moon Goddess. Bambi believed neither. She continued faithfully serving her kingdom at the side of the King, but his reign was short-lived for 8 months, to be exact. At the Central State annual Ball, they found him hanging from a grand staircase with a wooden stake piercing through his heart. Accusations of negligence were brought against Bambi and she was charged with treason for her failure to protect the King. The court sentenced the troops under her command to execution by beheading, while she was being taken to Crescent Center to be burnt alive at dawn by the Sun God. Martin Neopol, the small council prime minister, acted as a placeholder for the onyx throne until his Nephew Prince Hendrix came of age.

There was a divine spirit that favored her and spared her life, regardless of what she may believe. Her local community and her reputation as a benevolent war hero granted her immunity from execution. They reached a compromise by exiling her and forcing her back into slavery. Struggling to survive, Bambi found work at a nightclub owned by the Demon Prince Inguk. In addition, he offered her a position as a madam in the brothel. Regardless, Bambi’s luck continued to decline. She experienced a series of failed romantic relationships that left her with irreparable heartbreak. Desperate to fill the void of loneliness, she turned to a promiscuous lifestyle, engaging in ual escapades with various partners and relying on the extremely addictive vampire toxic substance known as ‘Dead man’s blood.’

The passing of time felt suffocating, an inescapable abyss. Until one winter solstice new year. She straddled into the Lunar temple high and drink off of blood on her knees before the statue, damning the Lunar Mother for the events that have led to her downfall. Empty and alone, she sat beneath the weight of sorrow. She waiting for dusk to break so she could walk into the sun, ending her morality of her burdensome pain when a gentle hand stopped her. A Dragonlord she hadn’t seen in decades convinced her that life was worth the turning of a new moon. If only she had known the Lord’s impact on her life, she would have pursued him sooner.

That fateful night fueled her with anew to rekindle her ambitions, leading her from one stepping stone to another. She enrolled herself in an addiction help program and became sober, no longer drinking from a direct blood source of living creatures and only accepting fresh donated by their Central Local blood bank. She could then conquer another lifelong milestone, acquiring her freedom by the grace of some universal god in a lucky game in her roll to freedom dice game during the Central local festival. With her freedom, she could own a place just outside eastern Central and obtain the brothel’s deed, renaming it the foxhole inspired after her esteemed colleagues Kim Hyo-jong aka Dawn . She forged the Foxhole to form a safe haven for creatures in need of work in a safe environment. Her reputation continued to gain steam when upon her freedom she’d done the one thing none of her previous masters had done for her. Bambi, upon acquiring two slaves, promptly set them free. A willing gained the protection and friendship of famined Ghoul after showing him years of kindness when no one else did. Amongst the locals, her status skyrocketed after she was offered the most important choice of her life.

They exchanged vows in secret. Very much on the way to gaining the closest thing to a family. Bambi became a mother to her step-daughter Yooa and befriended the King’s closest confidant, the First Knight, to the King Talking Tanuki Sir Dumpling in addition top her friend the Famined ghoul. Paradise didn’t last long when her beloved King took him and the first Knight to investigate a recent peculiar disturbance across Heleo. The king and the knight vanished leaving her to manage Throne of Dragons. But that was over a year ago. She now sits proudly as their lady Dagwon Spirit of Flame, Queen of Dragons watching waiting for any sign of her king’s return.
