Mental Disorder: Capras Delusion, named after Joseph Capgras, a French psychiatrist who was fascinated by the illusion of doubles, is a debilitating mental disorder in which one believes that the people around them have been replaced by imposters. Furthermore, these imposters are usually thought to be planning to harm the sufferer
Description
It was self-defence. He kept telling everyone that it was self-defence but no one believed him. All those people who had died had tried to kill him, were plotting against him so he had to kill them first. It was all in self defence. He didn't mean to kill them. He was simply trying to protect himself. You see, they were all impostors, taking the place of his family. His real family were kidnapped or possibly killed by those impostors who had taken their place. Those impostors who kept calling themselves his family were plotting against him, making plans to kill him. And he was no fool to believe in them.
When they had come that night on his 18th birthday claiming to surprise him at midnight, he could see through their plan. He had kept a gun that he had stolen from his cousin, who was a police officer, under his pillow. He had been ready. As soon as they had entered with the birthday which he knew was hiding an explosive inside, he pulled out the gun and killed them all.
It was self-defence. He was protecting himself but no one believed him when the police came the next day and arrested him. He explained himself infront of the police and then the judge but they didnt believe him. That's when he realised they were impostors too. The real police and judge had been kidnapped and killed by the same people who had taken his real family away. The impostors were back plotting against him. This time he had no weapon to protect himself. And they put him inside The Eternity Glade Institute.
He thought he had freed himself when he had killed those impostors. No he wasn't free. He was instead locked up with them in this facility. And everyday he tried to survive.
