Being the eldest child came with a lot of responsibility. But it also came with a lot of pressure, having been trained from a young age in all aspects of the arts. At age 11, this would pay off as she would her first gigs as a child model which lead to her being scouted by SM Entertainment. After training for 7 years, she would eventually debut as a member of Girls Generation as one of their main vocalists. Her long training and experience paid off as she was also the first member to debut solo within the group. Jessica was quickly nicknamed the ice queen (with her sister Soojung having the nickname ice princess) due to her naturally stoic looks. During her time in GG, Jessicaa got many modeling and acting gigs that she did alongside her schooling. Once she graduated from high school, she took a hiatus from the group to study fashion, business and performance studies at NYU. While in New York, she would create and open the first store for her fashion line, Blanc. This would later be renamed Blanc & Eclare when she collaborates with Sephora to create a makeup line of the same name. Shortly after this, despite getting permission from the company for launching her line, Jessica would have her contract terminated and be kicked out of the group with whom she had spent over 10 years with. Hurt by this she decided instead of signing with another company she would create her own. And so Zeta Entertainment was born! Now she’s back in South Korea, promoting her brand, her company as well as occasionally herself as a soloist. She helps the other stylists when it comes to the company as a whole, who usually uses most if not all things Blanc & Eclare for their works.
