Xichen was born and raised in a small village. Her life was fairly standard until at 16 she moved to the city for her studies. She agreed with her parents that she would dress as a man for her own safety and took on the alias of Shawn.

When she graduated high school, she got a job as a security guard, still pretending to be ‘Shawn’. She underwent intense training and ended up getting more and more jobs, until she was offered a job at Eternity Glade and she accepted the position, enjoying the hefty paycheck that came with the job.
