Many generations ago, zael'la's great, great, great grandmother got exiled from wendlyn, for being by a chancellor. 

During the time period, of course, women had little to no rights at all, and if they had more, it was from being the daughter or wife of a wealthy man. Her grandmother was none of these things. At the time, her grandmother, aria, had worked her way up from being a vendor, to a seamstress, and eventually becoming a lady. 

Aria was being courted by a duke at the time, and never gained interest in him. There came a day where she had enough of his incessant passes at her in public and told him to shove off. The women didn't like that someone so lowly had dismissed the most eligible bachelor and neither did the man being dismissed, so he took matters into his own hands. 

After her that night, and telling the entire town that she was having relations out of wedlock, aria was given the decision of either being publicly lynched or exiled and as he had gotten her pregnant, she decided the latter.

Creating a family and a story for her lineage, a matriarchy, based on one woman who decided that enough was enough when being pursued and that women have the choice as to how they rule and who they marry, was passed down through all the generations of zael'la's lineage. 

Mating with the other shapeshifters outside the industrialized country, and living off the land and their instincts, the family line continued, producing children until a woman was born. 

zael'la was born to her mother, Xiuya, first out of seven children until one day her mother spontaneously went missing. since then, zael'la has taken charge as the matriarch of her family and takes the role of being her family's historian and head of her household. she teaches her brothers and sisters everything they need to know mentally and physically and would die for them at the drop of a dime. 

Oftentimes, you won't see zael'la around the cities as the historic resentment of where she's from unless she has to retrieve something or is taken by her curiosity to find out what exactly goes on inside the walls of the city. if you see her in her human form, her 'exotic' beauty will strike you enough to where you'll see parallels in her visuals in her feline form as well. 

Never without a pair of cat ears on her head, the young woman is seen as rather strange and closed off. Will you be the one that breaks her stoic barrier?

ONE. I'm usually pretty active, but I'm currently in college courses right now, so most of my replies are late at night for me. (GMT -5)

TWO. if you ask me to plot, please have at least a semblance of an idea of what you want to do, I don't mind helping come up with a plot, but please help me with that.

THREE. contrary to popular belief, I'm actually really nice, I just react when provoked OOC, so to prevent that kind of drama, if you have an issue with me, please just say so to me in pm as soon as you feel that way so it doesn't prolong itself.

FOUR. if you want to use one of my pre-made plots, let me know which one when you ask, and if you want to make any changes.

FIVE. if I ask you to rp, I'll post first, if you ask, you go first unless the plot requires something different.

SIX. I like to throw in curveballs when I rp, so if you have any triggers let me know so I can avoid them.

SEVEN. if you want to do a kind of plot, please let me know what your limits and kinks are beforehand, and let me know if you want it to have substance to it, or if you want to just keep it as mindless.

You notice that a very wide-eyed girl rushes into an alley as the guards rush after her. luckily, she got away but why is she running in the first place? What is she hiding?

How will you react to this secret being revealed?
you were skirting the borders of the city and found yourself outside the walls. Living within the city limits, you were sure that there couldn't have been anything outside the walls in the jungle. Maybe animals, never people. Upon your exit, you notice a small village of huts of a tribal people having a celebration of some sort. Out of curiosity, you walk towards it noticing that a fight is about to break out. Feeling that you should intervene, you watch as they leap into action and transform their bodies. as zael'la notices that they're being observed, she transforms back and negotiates with you about keeping her secret.
