Theo was one of the sons born from Dirk Cresswell, a muggle-born wizard who was the first wizard in the Cresswell family be able to wield magic. Theo's mom is a halfblood who died protecting Dirk in the Second Wizarding War, sentenced to death for falsifying his magic pedigree in order to conceal the fact he was born of muggle parents. Despite this Theo was incapable of holding grudges, and instead grew to advocate for blood equality. Theo attended Hogwarts before the ban of mugglebloods was installed, and grew to become a wizard gifted in charms, arithmancy, and herbology -- which led him to become an amazing cursebreaker for the Ministry of Magic. Though, as tensions rose and wizarding schools began to close admission to wizards who didn't have pureblood, he volunteered to be the Headmaster of the only campus left that would accept muggleborns and halfbloods: Filotimo. As a Headmaster he is kind, but he grows incredibly protective of the rest of the students when rules are broken, considering if any lines are overstepped, any wizards attending Filotimo with muggleblood would not be safe. Rather than being confined to his desk, he is constantly traversing the corridors and checking in on classrooms. His favorite spot to be is the Quidditch field, because when he was attending Hogwarts he was the star Beater for Hufflepuff.
Trivia:
- He's received an Order of Merlin award 2nd Class for breaking the curse of El Dorado
- Been to every country known to man and therefore is a very seasoned traveler and likes to go on long tangents about his conquests.
- He's also been to a handful of places once thought to only be lore, including: El Dorado, the Garden of Eden, Camelot, Shangri-La and Atlantis.
- His job as a cursebreaker entails many things, but his main job was to break curses surrounding ancient temples in order to access its contents -- whether it be gold, ancient runes or artefacts -- and then seal it up with an even more powerful curse so that it couldn't be accessed again.
