An heiress to one of the biggest conglomerates in Asia, belonging to one of the richest families, Shayna had somewhat of an easy life and one could even say spoiled. Born in LA, it was expected that as the eldest daughter she would train to take over the family business, and train she did. From etiquette to horseback riding to sewing to anything that had to do with the business, Shayna was trained in it all from an early age. As was also expected of her, she learned to play the piano at a young age, but ever the ambitious one she also learned to play the guitar and made her own songs. It wasn't long before she had developed a taste for the spotlight, and as she grew up, she made sure she was the center of attention at every party.

This attention quickly led her to discover her love and passion for the arts and at the tender age of 16, she would surprise her family by debuting in an idol group. What surprised them the most was that it was with a company not owned by the family, her reasoning simply being that she wanted to be seen for her talents, not through her or her parents' connections. Taking the stage name Sara, she was the lead vocalist and was voted leader and center by her members and fans at their debut showcase. The group quickly became one fo the top girl groups in the country, becoming a household name, with Shayna being one of the more popular members. As she got older, she started to be seen as more of a symbol to the company and fans, often wearing more y and revealing outfits for performances. This led to many modeling gigs for her which eventually also led to some acting gigs.

However, as the group went on, despite being popular they would undergo many lineup changes and after eight years together decided to disband. Having been at NYU at the time of the disbandment, Shayna would soon launch her fashion line, Static, along with a makeup line of the same name. Around the same time, she decided to create her own company instead of signing with a new one, and so Lotus Entertainment was born. It wasn't long after this that her parents had decided to arrange her marriage, much to Shayna's displeasure as she deemed herself simply too busy to be conformed with marriage. The result of the marriage, however, gave her the best thing to ever come into her life. Her beautiful baby boy, Jacob.
