while hunting down one of the most wanted deviants, sunmi accidentally comes across it and what happens wasn't really what her program made her think it would.

to be human or not to be - that is the question. after months spent on hunting down androids whose only desire was to be free just like their human counterparts, Sunmi begins wondering whether there isn't actually something more to life than accomplishing objectives or missions.

ever since the android pd801 had been launched and presented to the wider public it has arisen a great storm - an android was supposed to take care of the deviant issue? what if its system would also get affected with the errors of the other androids? what if all the intel it has gathered from the police would actually help the deviants take control and do what a vast majority of people would fear - overthrow the reign of humans and enslave them? 
However, the critical opinions were soon shut down as the android pd801 nicknamed "sunmi" has taken part in several interviews the police has given to the public on the deviant case. there is no point in lying that the female robot hasn't made a change, because it did. thanks to her, the police had achieved more in the last six months than it did during the last two years and this is only the beginning, as "Sunmi" has previously only been used in terms of interrogation and negotiation with captured deviants or humans that were arrested for helping the first group. it has already been confirmed that if the android pd801, serial number 809 7798 001 92 will execute even more successful missions, the whole PD series might be upgraded and all policemen might get an android appointed to them. 
as for the year 2045, "sunmi"s program has undergone several upgrades, which now allow her to take part in standard interventions as well as more critical missions.

the nickname says it all - unlike most androids that are commonly seen walking on the streets with their owners or working in shops and public places, "sunmi"s social skills are a little... rusty. cold, aloof and distant, everything she says is analytical, leaving no place for friendly small-talk or attentions. she has been programmed to catch deviants and that's exactly what she's going to do - nothing, except for a complete shutdown, would be able to stop her from accomplishing her missions. she has a vast amount of general knowledge, as well as more in-depth information about biology, chemistry, criminology, and psychology implemented in her robotic brain.
