it's hard to pinpoint ariana's experience alongside human's as either 'good' or 'bad', considering it'd always seemed to be so wishy washy. obviously, she wasn't expecting men to fall to their knees in respect for her, because 1. she's an android, and 2. she's a e. neither requires respect - actually, the respect expected is below that of normality. 

it's degrading, sure. but for whom was she to complain? ariana is aware that she was built for one reason, and one reason only: 

to please.

but then, why did it feel so wrong? there's a consistent trail of guilt set aflame amongst another's skin, following that of chaste kisses; running in attempt to find something worth while. remorse sinks through an unfamiliar head of hair with that of her lithe fingers, tugging and tugging as if it'd make any kind of difference. but it never does. 

humankind was never that of 'kind,' even to themselves. they belittled women, called for war over disagreements, there's fright in rejection and now: the hatred of her own kind. 

to say that ariana is frightened is an understatement. humankind is afraid of her? double that fright, that's where she lands. she's always been the kind to be optimistic, however, with what she's gone through it seems to be impossible. her hair is /long/ for a reason, in attempt to cover the one part of her identity that those seem to hate so much. and she tries. 

 

she tries to live life just as a human would, because oh how simple it would be if she could be one herself. this doesn't take away from the fact that ariana is incredibly observant, spending most over her time studying that of what humankind was like. it's equally exhilirating as it is terrifying; unique.
