나히 — in korean, 나 means elegant, graceful, and delicate while 히 means joy, brightness, and bliss. kim nahee is a gentle ray of sunshine. 

she was raised in the countryside under the care of her grandparents on their peach farm in gangneung boksa village, a town famous for its contributions to south korea's farming industry. ever since she was a mere toddler, she was actively involved with work around the farm and was well known around her small town for her kindness. her grandparents didn't have much, but they raised her with love and that kept little nahee satisfied as she spent her day weaving strips of leaves together to make baskets that she could sell in the neighborhood for pocket money. 

although raised in the countryside and being a country bumpkin through and through, her grandparents emphasized the importance of education and ultimately decided to send nahee to college in the city to make sure she'd have a foundation to be something big in life. being an intelligent young woman, she was granted one of the university's scholar awards to cover her tuition. in her free time, nahee wanders around the city, still adjusting the the hustle and bustle of seoul which was so new and foreign for the country girl she is.

like a wildflower, she spends her days allowing herself to grow. not many knew of her struggles (she's always hid them so well), but everyone knew of the light she brought forward to her community.
