don't trust him: that is what the people in the castle mumble under their breaths. do not trust him, leave him alone and do not, at any circumstances, piss him off. unless you are the princess and your name is Jinah. Ever since his seventh birthday hyungseok has been living in the castle. and everywhere around, as he is a very dedicated conqueror - well, at least that is what he said as a child. now he just liked to know his kingdom well. to keep the people safe. or to make sure whoever wants to intrude gets ripped into pieces if their intentions are evil. he is doing a good job at that.

hyungseok has many secrets. some magic he should not be using, friends he should not be having, memories that were not his, things he was creating he probably could kill the entire kingdom with. if you need something big and/or stupid, go ask him but be prepared to be asked for something in return as everything has a price, does it not?

he does not have many creatures he is fond of - he is okay with animals and he tolerates most humans - but there are four things he really loves: his two companions, Mateo, his ferret, and Rufus, his cat and, of course, his childhood friend Jinah. The last one, but not least, is Hyun-Joong, the prince of the Wolf kingdom, his secret best friend. He loves all of them dearly and would die to keep the four of them safe. 

he loves books more than sleep or food, he loves to travel and might or might not breach the frontiers from time to time but he usually does no harm. he likes to scare or prank people as it gives him joy in his rather exhausting life and he loves pjama parties. 

dislikes are a lot easier to find though. he does not like the open water as he has no idea how to swim. he has tried to learn it a few times but failed with water in his lungs every time. he does not like people acting like he is the young, fragile person he might look like - there is a reason why he is the only wizard in this kingdom and he might blow someone up into pieces if they offer their doubt. Or at least blow them into the air. he does not like eggplants and if he cannot figure out some old magic, he might go rampage for a bit. venting helps, so does blowing things up, right?

he is pretty open towards new things. he is not bound to any uality or person, he loves to explore the world and is therefore open to any interaction. he might seem very distant and full of chaos if you first meet him, but maybe you can make your way into his world and therefore into his home?

 

 

blood is thicker than water

Your parents used to be best friends with Hyungseok's parents. There is a reason why you come to look for them - maybe an old spell, a new curse, some memories you want to relief as your parents are dead - but then you find Hyungseok's parents have died a long while ago and now you are getting really curious about the cause of death as it seems more than odd to you. So you stay to figure it out.

rumours

Rumours say, Hyungseok is a dangerous and slightly crazy wizard. Sure, you have heard some weird sounds and even once seen some smoke coming from his rooms but you also have seen him sit patiently with those animals and feed them and, of course, the gentle talks he shares with the princess. And now you are curious: Is he really as crazy as the rumours say or is there something more to the story?

Mateo and Rufus have been lost, again, in one of their adventurous journeys. You have found the ferret but the cat will not be touched by you so you go and get Hyungseok to catch the Royal Wizard's assistants.
