Born in Daegu to a drug addicted single mother,Sungki's life was doomed before he was even able to take his first breath, As a result of his mother's heavy drug use while pregnant, Sungki was born blind and with a weak immune system. Up until he was about 5, Sungki constantly spent his days in the hospital, thus drowning his mother in medical bills she couldn't afford. After his aunt learned that her sister was leaving him home by himself for weeks while she ed for drugs, she eventually took him under her wing. She raised him, homeschooled him, and made sure he had top of the line medicine to keep his sicknesses at bay.

However, just days after his twelfth birthday his mother came to his aunt's home crying and begging to give sungki back. she had promised she changed her life and was doing better. reluctantly, Sungki went back home. however, that same night a suspcious older man came to their home with two brief cases. Before Sungki knew it, his mother had informed him that this man was his father and that he wanted Sungki to spend some time with him. So his mother sent him off with just a small suitcase, the man leaving the briefcases behind.

It was that moment that Sungki's life had changed for the worse. From that day, up until he turned twenty, Sungki endured mental, physical and ual abuse. He had finally learned in his teen years, from a drunken outburst from the old man, that his mother had sold him to this e in exchange for all her debts to be paid off as well as a good chunk of money to keep for herself. Although not officially diagnosed, Sungki began suffering from depression and PTSD. To the point where his episodes were deemed to violent/spontaneous for public school, forcing him to finish highschool online.
Sometime before his twenty first birthday, his drunk abuser was trying to force himself on Sungki causing the latter to black out and violently murder the man. Terrified of prison, Sungki called a friend who advised he set fire to the home and body. Before they went through with the plan, Sungki raided a safe full of a large, liveable amount of money the man often boasted about. Later that night, Sungki and his friend set fire to the home and his friend offered to move him out into the city. Although his friend went back to the countryside, he stayed long enough for Sungki to rent an apartment, land a job as a counselor and overall get comfortable. In this time, Sungki underwent some plastic surgery, and received numerous tattoos in attempt to change his idenity.   

Personality:
due to is traumatic past, Sungki is initially very awkward, and stand-offish. However, he is surprisingly empathetic and caring of other people's problems, and loves to be a help. Although he is blind, he functions fairly well, able to cook for himself, use a phone ect. It's rare that he uses his cane. He hates for people to feel sorry for him upon learning his condition, in fact he just wants to be treated like normal. He's very perceptive, and can easily pick up on other people's true emotions. although he keeps it to himself and kind of probes until the person spills. He absolutely hates being touched, it's triggering for him. He's also a bit of a germophobe and often wears gloves. He's learned to mask his emotions so well that he's quite difficult to read or please. But as difficult as it may seem to get to know him, Sungki is actually fairly gentlehearted and longs to be loved. He often feels alone, and only really feels alive when he's helping people.

- he's not completely blind, during the day he can see but it is extremely impaired. everything is blury to the point that he can't make out who or what he sees.
