Park Jinyoung, the son of a middle-class couple, lived under the roof of high expectations and constant consequences. He suffered under the behaviors of tiger parenting. He swallowed every hint of esteem, confidence, and individuality while dealing with his parents. Being the only child, Jinyoung was put in isolation for years. There wasn't a person who helped him, nor did anyone try to.

His relationships failed to flourish. His friendships never bloomed. His parents controlled every limb, moving and guiding him to the road of their success. His schedule packed with practices and classes. They demanded a sport, and Jinyoung followed without a single doubt. His mentality grew weaker as he turned older. The time slowly ticked as he faced a new day of torture. He only spoke in silence. His mouth barely peeped.

Law was something that Jinyoung's parents yearned for. Both of them wanted their son to be a lawyer but not for himself. It was their money that their eyes beamed at, and Jinyoung never attempted to rebel against their wishes. The vision of college was Jinyoung's only way to breathe the air of freedom, even if it lasted for a few seconds. He roamed and searched for the perfect area, eventually applying and getting into the country's top university. It was what his parents wanted, Jinyoung nodded at it.

He started to become wary and tired of his parents. He didn't want to live in their shoes anymore. Even if his initial plan wasn't to become a lawyer, Jinyoung still studied under their command and got into law school. Of course, Jinyoung wishes for his chains to break, but he is too afraid to let go.
