A trapped little bird is what describe Soo the most. Trapped due to her parent's overbearing control regarding every aspect of her life. Let it be her studies to the circle of friends that she’s allowed to interact with. Being an only child in her family has more cons in comparison to the pros; younger!Soo used to think that her parents act the way they are just to protect her and because of their jobs. Soo is the daughter of two senior diplomats and unquestionably making her status quite high up; often she’s accustomed to being left with her babysitter (mama eve) when she was younger. Her own parents neglected Soo in the aspect the parental love, but they always demand her to be perfect to the tee just so that they can brag to others about how they succeed in raising the ‘perfect’ creation. Whenever Soo got perfect grades in school, they never really acknowledge it except for a nod and short “good”; however, in front of others, they always act like the loving parents just to uphold the ‘perfect’ image. Thence, in public Soo always have a polite smile and generally, people will see her as a good + smart girl - just another cliche; however if people were to observe a little bit more, they can see the amount of emptiness in her eyes and smiles.

The only thing that makes Soo happy are children. She enjoys watching and taking care of children because looking at them enjoying their childhood makes her not wanting any child to have what she had when she was younger. Her parent’s constant neglection made Soo to not have a normal childhood like what a child supposed to; not to mention about how much they wanted to create the perfect creation most of Soo’s time is filled with lessons. Her days back then were scheduled to the fullest, there’s just simply no time for Soo to play with kids her age. Nevertheless, when college application is open she was about to tell her parents about wanting to pursue early childhood education for her undergraduate degree but she’s not even surprised when her dad told her that he’s enrolled her to a major that she despises to the core; International Relations. As usual, her parents made the decision without her presence in the room.

Soo had enough of it and for the first time in her life, she counteracts against her family’s ‘plans’ and it resulted in this huge rift between Soo and her father and in the end her leaving her family home. Soo moved away to Lavande and with the support & help of her grandparents, she was able to rent out a place at Casia for her to start a new life without her dad’s support which she knows deep down she does not need at all and she is more than determined to prove to her parents that she can support herself just fine without their (especially her dad's) money.

Callous & aloof, these would be the perfect adjectives to describe Soo. Yes, she may look like she's not with the smile she have on but again it is a habit that her parents instilled in her as part of their "plan" in the past. The only time a genuine smile is plastered on her face is whenever she is around kids; kids will always be a soft spot for Soo and often she's been told that she is good with them which makes her wanting to be a kindergarten teacher more. However, once you get Soo on your side you'll see another side of her. She prefers minimal numbers of friends as opposed to larger one, half her life she was required to interact with other higher social status kids as per her parents request. She may know a lot of people but she likes the two friends that she actually likes that is pretty similar to her.

The small circle of people who Soo interacts with is very acquainted with her mom-like nature. Often they have to deal with her constant nagging and over-cleaning habits but they know that she never has any ill intentions with it.She is the one in the group that will have 1273 things stuffed in her backpack, because to her it is better to be well prepared for any situation. Doreamon’s pocket is what they call her bag, whatever you need there’s possibility Soo’s bag has it. Snacks? Most definitely. Umbrella? Don’t worry, Soo got it. Towels? Sunscreen? Yes, she does have them. At this rate, Dora the Explorer’s backpack will be put to shame if they were to compete. Strangers may not see it, but her friends know that she’s a er for the color pink. The pink stuff that she owns can outrun Barbie in the near future and she is not even ashamed of it. If it’s up to Soo, she would wear head to toe the color pink but after begged by her friends she decided to no do so. But instead she will have at least one thing in the shade of pink on her; let it be something big like her shirt or skirts or even something small like her collection of character pins that she flaunts on her bag.
