a rather famous photographer, minghao has taken it upon himself to visit quaint, sleepy little villages in order to document their hidden charm. having had several successful exhibitions, minghao's works often focus on the little pieces of happiness in life.
with the money he's gained from both exhibitions and his past as a lawyer, minghao travels the world in search of material for his photographs. years of working an office job from morning to evening have made him rather tiresome of the corporate world, which is why he's chosen to pursue photography, a long time passion of his, once his finances were more stable.
And so, minghao traveled to korea on the hunt for quaint little towns and places, and has currently been in korea for a few months. upon discovering a hidden town called jangseung, minghao immediately made his way over in hopes of gaining new material for a new exhibit he had in mind that would showcase the charms of old, traditional villages and such.
and here he is, trapped in the ominous town of jangseung with no understanding of the mystery that surrounds this spiral. whether or not he is meant to survive stands at the hands of fate, but for now... he'll document everything he can in hopes of reaching the outside world.
Persona.
having traveled the world and having met all kinds of people, minghao is very friendly and casual around others. he's quite clueless about the customs of jangseung. he's curious and easily gets surprised.

when minghao holds his camera and is invested in what he may be filming or photographing, no matter what he's filming, he won't stop. not even for the most heinous of crimes.

being watched by others, being buried alive, crowds, roaches, mice, getting in an accident, earthquakes, drowning, people, feeling trapped, being unable to escape.
Quirks.
minghao has something like a sixth sense. by no means is he a psychic, but if he gets into dangerous situations, his nerves act up and tell him to get away as a form of self defense. it's something like a very strong fight or flight reaction.
Minghao has a very high pain tolerance. do with this information what you will.
he's also well versed in many languages, having traveled around the world several times. he's fluent in mandarin, japanese, korean, and english, and can get by in a basic conversation in spanish, french, portuguese, russian, and german.
he used to be a very good lawyer, so he's good at arguing and dealing with people despite his dislike for most of them. he also is quite righteous and has a strong sense of justice.
minghao has the tendency to get into all kinds of trouble. somehow, it just likes to find him.

you can call me by my muse's name, but i also go by gao. my timezone is gmt+8, and i'm a college student, meaning my activity is sporadic. i do try to be on here a lot, because i've got lots of muse and this rp is like our brain baby hehe

i say i prefer plotting over winging, but ngl, plotting is pretty hard and i may not have much to contribute, but i do try! i like to have at least an idea of the relationship between characters before winging.
