Once upon a time, there was little dragon that went by the name of Chu. Chu in a really nice town called the town of SAY, where she spent most of her days frolicking around and causing havoc with her friends. Chu was a romantic little thing, always falling in love left and right with people who were a bit sweet to her. Because of this, she’d gotten her heart broken more than she’d hope to, and the big heart that she’d been known to had shrunk down and locked itself away.
She soon met this other dragon, whom she’d quickly nicknamed Toothless. She’d talked to Toothless a few times before, but was surprised when he started acting a little bit more than friendly. The two spent time together, growing close as the days passed until they went to an amusement park together. She’d quickly grow feelings for the male dragon, but would refuse to acknowledge them out of fear that she’d be hurt all over again. So instead of being forthcoming with her feelings like she normally was, she decided to tsun him, wanting to see if he’d stick around even if she was a bit cold around him.
And he did. The little dragon patiently waited by her side, slowly coaxing and melting her icy heart bit by bit until she couldn’t deny her feelings any longer. She’d started to flirt back, reciprocating his gentle touches and cuddles. It was obvious that she liked him, even if she still was afraid to admit it. But the dragon stood by her, waiting as she let her heart heal in order to fully accept his love. And when she did? It was like something out of a fairytale. He allowed her to be herself once more, the fun, flirty side of her coming out as she wasn’t afraid anymore to let herself feel and be loved. She felt as if she could never repay him for what he had done, but she was trying— every single day to show him how thankful she was to be loved by him, her little dragon.
Merry Christmas my love, my toothless, the zuko to my katara, and my ducky. I love you.
