Description
Hephaestus
⚬⚬⚬⚬
about him
Hephaestus was birthed out of pure revenge on Hera's part. The queen of the gods simply imagined him to be real. And it would be no surprise to anyone that both of those combined would not lead to the most beautiful baby. Not that he was ugly, no. By mortal standards he would have been hailed as handsome. Unfortunately for him, he was a god who didn't fit the standards of the immortals. So in embarrassment, she cast him away. In less fancy terms, she threw him off Olympus.
It was a rough way down. And the newly-born should have counted his stars lucky that we was blessed with divine strength. He was found and adopted by Thetis who recognized him as a god and raised him to the best she could. He soon grew popular among men, famed in all the known world for his forgery and craftsmanship. But Hephaestus never forgot. And he did not forgive.
He got his revenge with the legendary chair but ended up realizing the uselessness of it all - he wasn't fulfilled despite getting back at his mother. So he embraced her and learned to let bygones be bygones. And he kept that up ever after he was thrown off Olympus again by Zeus for standing up for Hera. Even his failed marriage did not bode badly on his overtly magnanimous demeanor.
Hephaestus stopped believing in the beauty of others physicality despite his forgiving nature - it was why he was cast off of Olympus in the first place even though he had skills like no other. He grew scornful of love and desire, setting it aside as something inconsequential but knowing it was not. He even became quieter as decades passed, finding his own sort of relationship with trinkets and bolts over the the gods who surrounded him.
But he stayed true and stayed on track, he continued his creativity and passion while remaining peace-loving and calm. Most technology today could draw its roots to the god, he went as far to birth the very idea of engineering, now running his own top-of-the-line company/service for the very same.

I check my walls more often than I do rooms but I've been trying to be more active so - Rooms > Walls > PMs.
4.
If you do ask me to rp with you, I don't mind trying out any plot ideas you have in mind though I may make some small changes. I'm a mirror though so let me know the style that works for you.
