To say that Sayaka hates her family would be an understatement. Born to a couple that didn’t want or plan for kids and dragged up by her ankles while kicking and screaming, Sayaka isn’t exactly well adjusted. Her mother left when she was six and was never seen again, and her father blamed Yaka for her mother’s disappearance and started to take it out on her. Despite many attempts to run away, she always ended up back at the same house. At the age of 16 she discovered drugs and found that she enjoyed how they made her feel, and at the age of 18 started to sell various drugs to keep her accounts in order. Soon she started to pretend she could speak to ghosts and learnt how to read tarot cards and rune stones, all for the sake of earning the money she needs to move out of her fathers place.

Sayaka comes across as cocky, confident, and constantly off her , even when not high. She acts this way to try and give a certain impression on people. Deep down inside she’s lost and deeply insecure, while being terrified of the end of the day when she has to go home and face her demons.
