background

jaehyun is your average kid in college. he's reveling in the freedom of being away from family for the first time in his life. nothing in particular is wrong with family - in fact, he loves them a lot. coming to college allowed him to be himself, though, and that is something he embraced from the first day of school. he realized there are many things he would do differently if he hadn't been so doggedly after his parent's approval and happiness. 

for one, he wouldn't be as risk averse. maybe he'd take more chances, go to a college farther from home. maybe he would study abroad. maybe he would be more brave, more willing to explore what he is like on his own. for example, he was told to study something that would promise him a future. he took on psychology because it made sense in his head, it made sense on paper and he found himself able to apply it in his life. going forward, he decided this was definitely a profitable and probable life path for him to take.

now, jaehyun is here on bubuho.com to meet new people, and break out of his shell. he's known for being a bad responder to texts, but he's trying to change that. 

hobbies

• piano: novice. parents put him in piano lessons when he was younger. he's ok at it, trying to keep up with it.
• soccer: intermediate. he's pretty good at it, and known to be an agile offense for any team he's on. don't put him on goalie duty - he will take risks and lose the game for you.
• cooking: intermediate. he's not always good, but he picked up some tips from his mom.
• photography: novice. jaehyun doesn't often buy things, but he enjoys getting off campus for some fresh air and to see the city.

pet peeves

• talking to him during a presentation.

• if you ask for something, and he says no, there's no reason for him to have to justify. no means no.

writing/plotting style

• i write semi para to novella. script is an option for quicker plots, but i still prefer full sentences. lengthwise, i try to mirror, but i can get carried away.
• do not feel as though you need to mirror my length, style, or my point of view to give me a reply. so long as i have something to work with, we're good.
• i prefer winging over plotting, but i can plot. typically approach people when i have a plot or idea in mind, and as i said above, i like when people do the same. saves a lot of time.
• i actually like to write starters if i know what i'm doing and if it makes sense for me to do it. dont shove it on me though.

activity/reply speed

• i'm usually very slow with my replies, sometimes because of the length, but sometimes because i'm just slow to do them. we can always drop/pick up our thread(s), but make sure you communicate with me.
• i work full time and that does effect how much muse i have or how i will reply. i will not reply to roleplay posts while at work, but i will pop in the chat. 
• i will never poke you. never poke me or i will ragequit/ignore you. you also don't need to remind me about me owing you a reply. i remember who i'm roleplaying with.
• i might be active in the chat infrequently or a lot. i'm not a very consistent person when it comes to this, so don't use my activity or lack of it as an excuse to be like "well you're active in the chat, why haven't you done my reply?" or some . doing like that will just annoy me and make me prolong sending it. (not even playing y'all. don't do this .)

• i don't have favorite genres or whatever else people ask when they don't have anything in mind but ask you to roleplay. mostly because i make plots up on the spot based on what i know about our characters. everything depends on our characters, what they like and don't like, what they're like and aren't like, and all that jazz.
