yoongi is the oldest of a pair of twins born to a knight and his fair maiden of a wife. his twin sister, yoonji, was born three minutes after him. from an early age, yoongi showed promising signs of following in his father's footsteps, and at the young age of ten he began his squireship. his liege was sir mathias lin, and he learned everything under his watchful eye. by the time he was eighteen, he was ready for knightship himself. after being knighted, he was recruited by his king to serve and protect the young prince. He was only twelve, a mere boy. the assignment was easy, or so he thought. a few years and mistakes later, he found himself in a new kingdom, with only a few familiar faces.

yoongi is someone who keeps to himself mostly, but he's known for having a dark sense of humor. he is someonw who knows exactly what he wants, and he isn't afraid to do whatever it takes to make his wishes come true. when he trusts someone, he is loyal to a fault, but earning his trust is labourous, and hard for even those who have the most patience. he can count the number of people he is loyal to on one hand. he's got a temper and he isn't afraid to show it. he's a skilled artisan of bladework and he's deadly at the best of times. he keeps three knives on his person at almost all times.
