about where i'm from 001 #bio
growing up in a little ordinary family, dongyoung, or rather as he much preferred to be called, doyoung, has always been that aloof and quiet little brother of a small family of four which consists of his parents, his older brother, and then him. due to the large age gap he has with his older brother (9 years apart), it was a little difficult for doyoung to mingle around with people and actually make friends as the neighborhood children around him were nearly the same age as his brother. so it was pretty easy to tell which one is the extroverted one and which one is the introverted one between the two siblings. it also didn't help with the fact that their little family would move from one town to another due to his father's job, though it wasn't a problem for doyoung as he didn't really know what it feels like to feel that slight tinge of pain whenever you have to separate with your close friends.
during school and college years, doyoung can always be found walking through the halls with his nose buried in his notebook, glasses occasionally slipping down to rest on the bridge of his nose, with his trusty pencil just sitting on his ear. from someone else's point of view, it would seem that he is the studious type, when in reality, his notebook would just be filled with his doodles and random drawings, mainly doodling harry potter characters and a few portrait drawings of them. anoher way to express his feelings or thoughts, was what he put it whenever someone would approach and ask him about it.
fast forward to the present, doyoung is currently working in a webcomics company. despite not being in the art department like he had hoped for before being hired, he was rather content with having a technical support position in the tech department. of course, sometimes you would ask why he didn't choose to be in the art department, doyoung would merely shrug and say that he wanted to experience a lot of things in life, even if it meant he had to be rather active during social gatherings (to which, he dreads the most).

Personality a bit of an introvert. will be quite easy to get along with yet would actually prefers you to approach him first most of the time.
Likes just mention about harry potter or video games and he will surely would love to interact with you.
Dislikes last minute notices.
Hobbies doodling and just spending most of his time on his phone when not working.
Secrets has a habit of crying when overwhelmed though will regret doing so after everything has calmed down.

One.
do n o t poke me. i will reply you in my own pace. i will tell you if i lost my muse or am not feeling it. don't worry, no hard feelings on this, sometimes my muse will be all over the place.

i am fine with any genre but i mostly lean towards to wholesome scenarios and if i am up to it, angst. i don't really do rated genres but if i do, i need to really vibe with you and not just immediately jumping straight into it.

as stated, my timezone is gmt +8 and i am online most of the time. but please, never rush me into replying. it will only make my muse to lessen little by little.

my character that i am playing as is portrayed in a certain way (i.e. witty, shy, an airhead, etc) so please do not mix it in ooc. if you have any problems with it, do pm me about it rather than shading me.

having fun while roleplaying is my main priority. i would not like to make anyone or feel as if we are in a writing competition.

i prefer writing in 3rd pov but i can also do 1st pov. i don't really care how many paragraphs you give me but i am flexible. which means, i can give replies a lil short or a lil long. absolutely no one liners please! please actually give some effort rather than making me do all the work.
