before the war broke out and ravaged the human lands to waste, adam's family had secretly been operating as vampire hunters, trying their best to keep the hidden threat hidden in the shadows. He was trained in their ways from a young age, ready to defend himself and his home if need be. Adam was thoughtful and observant, but very direct and passionate. although his facial expressions would never give away any hints of what lie beneath his visage. when he wasn't training to take up the vampire hunter title, he played with the village children, helped raise his younger sister, and read books. lots of books.
but when the vampires took over, the hungers found themselves overwhelmed and they were easily taken out by the powerful foes. adam was the only one left, still fairly young for his age. as he was laying on the ground, surrounded by dead bodies of his family, a royal sekhmet vampire came to him and decided to spare him and turned him into a vampire.
25 years since that fateful day, he still bears some spite against the vampires for changing his life and who he is, for killing all the people he cherished. but time passed...he has to move on. he's a count and prefers to spend his time outside of the castle, far away from the families and their petty drama.
