Just on the fringes of practical royalty, Hoseok was within the grasp of being considered one of the elite. His family's high-ranking positions within a top technological-based company and well-versed connections made it fairly easy to cultivate the mannerisms of the elite. Of course, this privileged life was not in the cards for him. After supporting a corrupt politician, his parent's prominence fell from grace just as that. As his parents convinced many to donate large sums to the corrupt politician-- who was merely a puppet for a group of scammers, the debt "they" owe to people became too much and their life quickly fell to shambles. If it wasn't for the strings pulled by his grandparents to have him live with them and to partially cover the funds for his parents, they would've been destitute. At the age of twelve, he said goodbye to his parents as they left their son to work, in hopes to repay all the money to the former associates. 

From then on, Hoseok became Wonho, as it was more or less to provide a clean slate and to differentiate his name from his father’s. It was then that he was put through different schooling. He was to be tutored and trained in the affairs of the elite, in hopes that he would become an advisor, secretary, or perhaps a CEO himself. However, this life of the rich was too much for Wonho. The taboo, drama, and ruthless world that the elite-controlled was nothing he wanted to be a part of. The sly dealings, constant management, and the constant facade that everyone put on was BS, and these people knew it. But money makes a person go mad. And so, Wonho had ulterior motives. While at school, he and his other “delinquent” friends would do their own things. When it came to their shenanigans, the whole school knew who it was, but could never have the proof they did it. And of course, over his time there he started to explore himself. He experimented with different things, different people, in various, questionable places. But to suffice, Wonho had fun. But the fun came cracking down when one of his friends ratted the whole group out, resulting in Wonho receiving the most severe punishment, expulsion. Despite not being the leader of the group, merely just face, he was handed the worst thing that could happen to him. His grandparents-- who were oblivious to his mischief, became so upset that they essentially disowned him. From the age of seventeen, Wonho had to basically grow up and handle everything himself.

It was a good thing that he had somewhat paid attention at school as he knew how to handle his economics. Money never became tight for him, and finding jobs weren’t exactly hard. Within time, he rented out his own studio and began his adulthood early. Just about two years later, Wonho somehow stumbled his way into a late-night busking. The five dancers admittedly weren’t all that good, but it gave Wonho something to ponder on, “What if I learned to dance?” The thought tantalized his mind, and he finally gave in to the fantasy. He started participating in dance classes at a local studio. Overtime, he became a solid, versatile dancer as he learned different styles. Contemporary, krumping, break-dancing, b-boying, and so on. It was around the same time, the very same dance studio started posting videos on youtube, ultimately blowing up simultaneously. This gave Wonho the chance to choreograph a couple of dances not just for the studio, but also for various artists.
