― likes : when the sunshine tickles his face, warm hugs and cuddles, helping others, discovering lost, abandoned places and learning about their past.
― dislikes : being alone, not having anyone to lean on, arrogance, wannabe-leaders, impatience, disloyalty, hot weather
― hobbies : drawing/painting (he uses coal and similar things to create expressive works to use them as a method to release his stress), carving (sticks, mostly wood).
― talents : crafting things, his creativity, his sense of community, his leading skills, his ability to calm other down his combat skills handling guns.
― goals : fighting the virus, protecting his newly found family since he couldn't protect his actual family, to truly become happy, to live a fulfilling life, to be meaningful, to make a change in the world.
― extra : chris tends to get anxious easily, however he has trouble expressing his feelings when he struggles. in that case, it's better to remind him of how far he's come and that he'll be able to deal with way more, that he's capable, and that he won't lose control over anything. he needs people to have his back, he needs the feeling of having people to fight for and people to fight for him. he's very dependent of social relationships. he only functions in a social structure, on his own, he's basically screwed. when he's alone, he gets sad. he can get really intimate with people, but he most likely won't do the first step. he loves closeness, platonic cuddles and such. he also is incredibly loyal, but don't mistake his loyalty for naiveness. you mess up with him once, you won't get that trust back.
One day, his father went out to receive the family's rations for the week, but never returned. nobody knows what happened to him, and chris doesn't allow himself to think about him possibly having died on his way, being manslaughtered by rebels, possibly, since it was an issue at that time.
His mother fell incredibly sick out of a sudden. chris and his sister hannah were taken away from her, and after his mother got a positive test on the virus, they were never able to see her again, and they were not allowed to go back to their home either. because of their backstory and food and water becoming rare, nobody wanted to accept the siblings and take them into their home.
they ran away, and lived alone. the only shelter they found was a shed they found outside of the town after they had to flee, and ever since that day, chris had the full responsibility for himself and his sister. he was exposed to such responsibilities at the age of 16 years.
they lived in mentioned shed for 2 more years. one day they went out to look for food, or other handy ressources, and that day another tragedy took the last thing he had left in this world from him - his beloved sister. at one point, they had to climb a cliff in order to avoid being stuck in a dead end. though being secured and having brought equipment for climbing, christopher just couldn't control the way the rocks beneath his feet simply collapsed and crushed his sister underneath.
eventually, he ran away, never returned to their shed, and kept travelling on his own...
..until he encountered the motel.
to this day, christopher blames himself for hIs sister's unnecessary, gruesome death. he blames himself for having let his dad go on his own, he blames himself for asking his mother to see a doctor. and because he has all of this guilt pent up within him, he swore to himself that he was going to make a difference in the world, that he would bring peace, safety, health and freedom back to the people. he won't be able to rest until he accomplished his goals.
christopher looks for a loyal partner that exudes free-spiritedness and strength. he needs someone just as passionate as him, because otherwise he will feel insecure about the relationship. he values the small little things the most, he loves, little, subtle touches, he love soft, little pecks just as much and slow, sensual kisses. as his partner, you'll be the center of his attention, along with his priority to make the world a good place.
if you ask him to choose between priorities, chances are high he'll just go with whatever he thinks he needs to do in order to accomplish world peace.
Chris sometimes gets a little hard to understand, he totally and absolutely loves affection, however when it comes to his own emotions, he struggles with expressing his feelings, so he just keeps them to himself. this way of dealing with his problems often gets him worked up and on edge, and he needs a partner who will give him space and not judge him for needing distance at times.
what chris absolutely hates is guilt-tripping. you try that once, and you certainly lose his trust. once you lose his trust, you won't get it back. he has a big, big heart, but he's not a fool.
treat him with respect and reassure him he's doing enough, and he'll give you the world.
