well, some things just aren't supposed to be heard by children, though. even though he always played the fact that his father didn't want him and that he's a burden to his already struggling mother down, it for sure got to him when he hit his teens, as he became more self reflective and all that.sehyoon was born to a rather poor, young woman in her early twenties. he was not a planned child, his father left his mother when he found out she was pregnant with their child. therefore, sehyoon grew up not knowing who his father was, but he appreciates the fact that his mother was honest with him ever since he was a child. 

 

feelings of guilt have clouded his mind, he felt ashamed for eating from his mother's money, he felt ashamed for sleeping in the bed she had bought for him, felt ashamed to call himself her son, because, in fact, he was an accident, and his mom was stuck with him.

 

sehyoon eventually started to hang out with the wrong guys - he's got a long record of stories involving drugs, and violence that nobody but him and his "friends" know of. eventually, sehyoon got introduced to seonghwa who took him in on his drug business, considering the fact that sehyoon had the knowledge - tragically, sehyoon became addicted to ecstasy, however he started off with weed back then.

 

ecstasy has contributed to symptoms of most likely genetically passed on mental disorders to break out.

¬ hallucinates (visual, auditory and tactile)

¬ suffers from paraparanoia & confusion

¬ ​gets anxious and frustrated easily

¬ has bad consumption habits (e. g. spending     money carelessly) 

¬ feels drained and worn out easily

 

upon being accepted into the gang, sehyoon fell for one of the other members. their romance was frowned upon by the leader, and he was threatened to get kicked out, in order to prove his loyalty to the tz leader, seonghwa, sehyoon left his mother and everything he used to have. he was allowed to stay, and he works as a dealer and is in charge of dealing with the really hard cases of addiction ㅡ sehyoon knows the business, and he knows when purchases become suspicious, he can tell when a client's not an actual client but a cop.

 

the main reason why sehyoon wanted to stay in tz is because seonghwa promised to let him have drugs for a much cheaper price, which meant in return that he'd pay him less money. sehyoon accepted, without tz, he'd have no access to his drugs, plus, seonghwa can easily bail him out of jail in case he ever gets caught.

a win for him.

 

sehyoon is very emotionally attached to byeongkwan, as he's about the only one who doesn't think of him as a total freak, instead, he gives him the feeling of being needed, relevant and loved. however, sehyoon lets himself be commanded around by him, given the fact that byeongkwan is extremely possessive over him. sehyoon doesn't see this as an issue. at least someone cares about him, he thinks.

 

he's got an overall shy and reserved personality. he tends to feel insecure often, prefers to stay at home. ecstasy is his boost of self esteem. ecstasy makes him feel alive, it brings colour into his life. ecstasy makes everything seem funny and meaningless. however, he generally prefers being alone when he's on e. generally speaking, he's rather quiet, and he won't approach people. when he's out for work, he's almost always on sedatives, otherwise his anxiety wouldn't be able to handle the situation. social contacts are hard for him. when put under pressure, sehyoon shuts down in order to protect himself. 

 

sehyoon has tried a lot of drugs, sticked with ecstasy and sometimes, when there's no money for e, weed, though. when he's with others, he doesn't make his addiction a subject of the talk, and whenever people address it, he feels sad.
