occupation: Postal Worker
timezone: gmt -5
background
SCENT: Apple & Vetiver
Hoseok had often been told what was expected of him as an alpha. Alphas were to be the best of the best, both in physicality and mentality. They were born leaders, dominant and successful. His family often told him that he was to be proud of what he was, to become as great of a man that they wanted him to be. He was born an alpha, after all, he should be such things.
But when Hoseok went through his first rut, he was horrified. It was not that he disliked the idea of , even at a young age he enjoyed indulging in the idea of his ual fantasies. But ruts...they were different, it was not the typical arousal, it was a sense of ‘I need this, I need it now’. And this, it terrified him. What if he slipped up? What if during the heat season, he approached the wrong person and made a mistake? And what if he accidentally attacked a human because of it? Just because his instinct told him to go to the omegas in heat, didn’t mean that he won’t go to what he was ually attracted to.
So Hoseok started to lock himself away during this time until he was able to tolerate it /to a point/ when he was in a mainly human environment. It was frustrating to say the least, especially when he was trying to study, and when he was dorming for college. It made it so hard to hide his wolfishness, to pretend that he wasn’t getting himself off just to keep himself “healthy”.
His dislike for this aspect of being an alpha was only slightly tolerated by his family. They wanted him to have children, no matter what his age and they wanted him to also do well in school. It was something that did not make sense to Hoseok, and it only stressed him out even more. Thus, as soon as he graduated with his Master’s in Business Management, Hoseok gave up. He did not want to be part of this world that his family seemed to draw out for him.
He did not want to live what they saw as an alpha. He was more than that, more than just a bread-winner for a large family. He was himself, and that’s it. He wanted to finally do what he wanted to, something that his parents did not support him in. They refused to see reason, stating that he was acting too much like the humans that he lived amongst. They gave him an ultimatum, leave and never return, or act like a normal alpha. So Hoseok packed up and left, never to hear from his family again.

personality
Hoseok is generally overly friendly, wanting to do everything in his power to make a person have a good day. Because of his habit of doing this, he finds it quite easy to make friends and even fall in love.
He has a rather bad habit of speaking before thinking, so one could become easily offended if they do something that he believes was immoral or even when he is surprised by something. During heat season, Hoseok is easily irritated and angered. It is the time when he portrays his more "alpha" personality. Thus, if he hasn't locked himself away already, it is best to stay away during this time, as his anger can get the best of him.
