the first thing that just happens to stand out about chanhee is the fact that for an alpha, he had a quite odd body shape, behaviorisms during rut phases, and underdeveloped s before starting treatment.
what seems like a random, yet rare hormonal condition to some actually goes a lot deeper. aside from chanhee and the people involved, nobody except for his therapist knows what happened to him in the past.

chanhee was born in an illegal pup farm, where - chanhee would even refuse to call these beasts "humans" - would illegally breed wolves to sell them off for whatever purpose. given to a group of self-proclaimed "scientists", in fact doctors, chanhee has pretty much grown up with monthly injections that would suppress his alpha hormones almost completely. the idea was to make a human out of the wolf, however, they've missed their goal with a tragic result - when chanhee was rescued, doctors found out that chanhee's puberty had been suppressed to a quite big extent. 

hormone therapy has managed to help give his body's development the boost it had missed, and having been on hormones for around 2 years now, chanhee has never told anyone about anything that happened to him. despite the fact that he's always done homeschooling (of course, after all there was no way anyone could ever know about chanhee and what they'd been doing to him), chanhee did well in school and finished highscbool with excellent results. when "the freaks" weren't looking for once, chanhee immediately took the opportunity and escaped at age 16. reaching out for help wasn't easy to him. chanhee knew how to speak, knew most mannerisms from the contacts he had at "home", but never in his life has chanhee ever seen the sunlight for longer than 2 hours a day. 

luckily, he had completed highschool with quite good results, which gave him the opportunity to study. chanhee currently lives with a group of other wolves who share a similar fate in an assisted living comunity. they are always monitored by professionals, and chanhee is pretty lucky to have gotten his life together despite everything. he now studies psychology. more than anything, he wants to try to understand his own trauma, but when people ask, he just tells them he wants to help people. a pretty basic response, but poeple buy it.

chanhee doesn't speak about his trauma with anyone aside from his therapist, however, his trauma affects his behavior at times. he has attachment issues, trust issues and anxiety. chanhee isn't one to wear his emotions on his sleeve for everyone to see, which is why he often struggles on his own. never having had anyone to turn to really messed with his peace of mind, and chanhee gets paranoid easily ㅡ his paranoia may be the strongest symptom of his ptsd. when he gets flashbacks, it's often triggered by scents that are similar to those men that held him captive had. he doesn't get close to people easily, either. it's hard for him to let people in. because in the end, he has been raised to be modified, he grew up thinking something was wrong with him and especially now, his odd, petite body build is by far the biggest scar it had left on him. he's scared to get intimate because of it, besides, he never felt love in his life, anyway, so is he really loveable even? in order to cope with these, chanhee has become quite avoidant of most challenging situations. he doesn't believe himself all too much, yet he will take any opportunity he can to battle his miserable condition ㅡ even if it means to pretend it's never been there.

 

socialising in the club, however, made chanhee see that to other people, he was fine just as he was ㅡ being raised pretty much contrary to his subgender assigned at birth, chanhee at some point realized that all the stress he'd put on him for becoming the alpha he was was simply based on his fear of escaping from his past instead of accepting and dealing with it. having been intimate with a small selection of people, chanhee decided for himself that it was better to stop forcing himself into the role of an alpHa, leaving him with the wish to transition to an omega, as it was the closest to what felt right to him ㅡ he felt like he finally found the role he wanted to live in, and he was well aware of the impact of his decision, but as his body developed into one of an alpha, chanhee has only had nothing but a headachex stress and anxiety about it. to him, being an omega feels right, being an alpha, however, was something he neither could nor wanted to reach.

cocky,  book-smart. since chanhee is quite insecure, his intelligence is something he heavily depends on when it comes to gaining confidence, as he obviously isn't as confident about himself. chanhee can get really defensive, he's brutally honest when it comes to voicing out his thoughts about others. even though it doesn't show often, he is very sensitive. he's a very ambituous and hard working guy, generally speaking, however, sometimes, he needs a break from everything. another chanhee thing is the fact that he tends to use sarcasm excessively. he doesn't let people in all too easily, however, out of politeness, he will be willing to engage in conversations and get to know people.  he also Is a little naive since his self esteem heavily depends on how people around him react to him, his insecurity is something that can be used against him for sure. chanhee's found a liking for the luxury aesthetic. depending on how you approach him, he either is polite and sweet or somewhat bratty.

refer to the display picture when describing the colour of his hair, eyes and clothes. chanhee is 1,73m tall. he has a petite, fragile body - all in all, his appearance doesn't exactly match his status, and it bothers him. check this for his wolf form.

chanhee has a quite intense scnet of pink roses and hoarfrost on leaves in the dawn, the morning air on a remote, untouched flower field.

abandonment, being alone, being outside in the dark, injections, needles, blood, doctors, being asked "are you trans?", comments about his appearance, his family and questions about his past, controlling behavior, situations that make him feel like he has no control, when he's lacking something (e.g. grades, attractiveness, depth in voice).

when he's confronted with one of these things, chanhee will most likely shut down. depending on how severe the trigger is, he might as well snap at someone. his most common reaction is hiding at a safe spot and crying (safe spots can be any enclosed room where he is alone, without the risk of someone suddenly coming in), if you catch him on a bad day, he may as well explode into your face about how it's none of your business and that he just has a bad day. after that, he'll most likely never dare to face you again.
