background
tw : death
being the son of the chief of police had its perks. he was congratulated for things his father had accomplished and, although he rarely spent time with him, he can't help but feel proud. his mother, on the other hand, had enough with his busywork and his various nights away from the family to focus on multiple cases at a time that she divorced him while bambam was still a child. he never understood why.
his father was an accomplished and successful man. he never saw him as anything else but. even when it was later found out that he was targeted for his involvement with gangs, he never blamed it on him. especially the trauma he put him through. one night his father was taken from him and, awaken from the loud thuds outside, he opened his door slightly for a peek. he was shot right in front of his eyes, under the shimmering midnight was a splatter of red across the floor and the walls. he hid himself well right after to calm himself until it was safe to come out. ambulance and police sirens were blasting out his window; he knew he was safe.
shortly, he was sent to his grandmother who lived a city away. though it was natural for his mother to take custody, bambam never saw her after she left. so he was taken care of by his grandmother taking her place. after months, years, of therapy, he finally convinced himself to follow in his father's footsteps. mainly, to find out who killed him that night and steps to imprison them. at least that would help him ice the pain. after gathering the necessary steps, he became a private investigator in a privately owned company backed up by the government. though he's struggling to make ends meet in a crummy apartment, he's still fighting through. find the killer. imprison them. and finally closure.

personality
bambam is very social and has a large group of connections. he has a level of respect for everyone and treats them warmly. he's very honest unless we're talking about his feelings. he hates being vulnerable and usually tries to muffle it down with a puffed out chest and a clenched fist. although he may seem very free-flowing he has his limitations. he usually sticks to his routine and things he's familiar with, afraid to really branch out the norm. he's very sensitive when it comes to criticism and often needs reassurance with his work. kind but ultimately very selfless; habitually putting others above him when they need support. is kind but kind of a handful if no one tells him off.
