here was once man who loved a woman, this woman was with child from a previous lover and the man ought to love the baby when it is born. But the baby, a healthy boy, grew up to be someone they both didn't expect. He was gifted with his advance intellect and spoke at the age of 1. The mother was in glee, she loved her child like how a mother should, but the husband was in cahoots. He felt alone. He felt his wife was taken away from him when the child was born. He was obsessed with her and rarely gave the boy attention. When the boy turned 3, the foster father started to beat his wife up. The son would see bruises on his mother's arms, neck, and everywhere else. At first he was confused, why did she appear to have been suffering but all she does is smile. It lasted for a year and the son couldn't take it anymore.

He went home one day only to see his mother being held on the wrist so tight, he could see red marks around the white, skinny wrist. He was holding his belt and he lashed out on her back. The father looked at the little boy and grumbled, eyes laced with fury. 'You took her from me, you bastard!' The man blinked and the boy disappeared. Discombobulated, he searched the vicinity as to where the child went only to be restricted by his movements. There, the little child had the father's neck, a knife slitting on his throat ever so slowly.

'I'll see you in hell, father.'

Before the man could retaliate, he dropped to the ground with his voice caught, hands preventing the blood to spill even more as if it would help his upcoming death. He didn't see nor hear where the child went seconds before his neck was sliced and it frightened the man. Within seconds, the man's body falls with a thud, now lifeless. All this was witnessed by the boy's own mother. Who would have thought that a 4-year-old boy would be capable of doing such a thing? The mother, horrified, scooted away to the wall while looking at her son. 'What have you done?'

Confused by the reaction, he looked at his bloodied hands and let go of the knife that penetrated the man. He only wanten to protect his mother and he killed a man. It was horrid for a child but is had been done. The man's body was then buried by a friend of the mother and it was then a secret only the three of them knew. When asked why and how the father died, they would just hang their heads low and pretend to mourn, making the person renounce the prior question.

After a few months of the man's death, the mother decided to take the little boy away from the country to prevent further issues and to give him a new life to which the child agreed on without second thought. It wasn't because he was guilty but he was tired of the people faking their concerns as much as they faked theirs. And so the woman fled away with her son.

The woman and her son then came upon a kingdom in yearning for someone to take them in or just her son, only to be apprehended for being a trespasser. The son defended her mother with a wooden stick in his hand and the soldiers laughed at the sight, then they were silenced by a swift advance from the boy head on to knock one of them down the dirty pavement. 'How dare you attack the captain! You must be sent to prison!' Their hopes were crushed and the boy looked apologetically to her mother.

"My love, Alexei. You protected my life more than I should have done for you. When I leave or die, do not cry. Vita non est vivere, sed valera vita est. It means; life is not about living, but to live a good life. Continue your journey and be brave, do not yield to misfortunes."

As they await the binds of the soldiers, one man approached them that made the others bow in his presence. He took one look at the boy before pulling his mother away, the child screaming in rage then stops. The woman smiled sadly before bowing to the man, she went to the boy and knelt down to his eye level.

'I named you as what I wanted you to be, a protector, a defender. And that you did. We will see each other again. Goodbye, Alexei.' And before he knew it, his eyes were blinded by a cloth and he screamed and screamed with his cries of longing, waiting for an answer only for it to never come.

Alexei was now raised by the Gaya clan's soldiers, the head taking him in like a child without parents. At a young age, he was trained in the art of swordsmanship and other weapons the clan had like any other knights. But the head favored him a little bit more than others, even giving young Alexei a name he can use for future purposes, Seokwoo. He didn't like it, but he was in no position to oppose or he would be dead within a single heartbeat. He became a child prodigy and as he grew up, while he envisioned himself to protect the royals.

He serves Gaya with his life and despite the harsh environment he trained in, he owed it to the man who took him in and gave him a new life.

His hard work gained their trust and became the top fighter in his ranks. Some hated him for his stature and different ethnicity but he is a full-pledged knight and swore that his life comes last after the royals and people of Gaya. It was something others cannot prove despite their loyalty. His previous life had been erased and he was now someone people admired. His bravery, his faithfulness and skills earned him the royal's trust. And he had no plans of destroying it until his death.

Alexei, also known as Seokwoo in his ranks, was a responsible, faithful, and yet loud boy. As a child, the young Alexiel had a soft and trusting demeanor, submissive to his father and afraid of being lashed out for a few years. Although becoming less so after his adoption, he continued to show kindness towards others, particularly his friends and new family. As a comrade, he also maintained a professional and polite air, particularly when in front of his superiors. But he doesn't forget to joke around at suitable times.

He was similarly unafraid to put his life on the line to protect the people he cared about, although ultimately suffering from having too much to protect, earning wounds just to defend his masters. He was also fierce and brave on the battlefield, never backing down even in trainings. Additionally, Alexei possessed a classic chivalric spirit, refusing to ever hit women due to his experience with his mother. Training with dames are different however, he gives his best to show no discrimination. After his adoption to the knighthood, he learned to pick his battles.

As a result of his traumatic childhood, he was naturally unsociable and cynical at the first few years in gaya, as well as prone to sarcastic comments on his sometimes absurd situations. He then adapted to the environment and got along with most of the staff. He also developed a less hot-blooded demeanor and preferred to keep his cool even in stressful situations, both out of hhis guilt and his own experiences。

Writing & Plotting Style

•.*★ writing style。 I normally do semi-para, para, to novella. It depends on how high my muse is or how excrutiatingly detailed we want our threads. 3rd pov is my medium in writing longer threads but I am flexible. I write according to what you would reply as and put as much necessary detail as possible. I can mirror your replies unless it doesn't need much, like repetition of details.

•.*★ plotting style。Plotting over winging most of the times so let us share ideas on how to make our storyline work, the more ideas the more wonderful our threads will be. I tend to play around around plots too that it sometimes turns into winging them. I also don't typically approach people unless I have a plot or idea in mind, and I really like it when people do the same. Saves a lot of time, doesn't it?

Regarding starters, I do write them if it makes sense that I should so I expect my partner to do the same, if not, then we can brainstorm ideas on how we can start.

•.*★ important。 Only poke me after 5 days of not replying to our thread. I take note of who I am roleplaying with so do not worry if you think I have forgotten you. Also, refrain from using my activity or lack of it as an excuse to pester me about a reply. It honestly won't do a thing and it may or may not lessen my will to actually reply so don't do like that bro.

I am usually fast with my replies specially when I have high muse for a certain plot. So if I haven't replied for a while, refer to the section above. Or I might just be handling some OOC, if so, I would let you know. Communication is key. And don't be shy if you ever want to drop or relive a thread.
