sojung; younger sister - the two sisters have a close relationship ever since young and despite being slightly jealous of the love she gets, kyungri still treats sojung very well and the three sisters show an inseparable relationship.

when she was born, it was said that seven white pigeons landed on the roof of the palace, overlooking the land of aerok. she was the first princess of silla, seen as a good sign after the born of the first prince, therefore given a lot of care and attention. ever since young, she had been taught to be elegant, polite, her every move was monitored by the teachers and reported to her parents immediately. whenever she did something wrong or couldn't meet their standards, she would be punished to stay in her room all day and no going out. she never liked such punishments. looking out the only window in her room, she felt like a bird in the cage, having nowhere to go. so as she grew up, she learned the smart way. she made no mistakes again, followed the rules and became the perfect princess in everyone's eyes. but only she knows that freedom is what she truly dreamt of, and the reason why she was doing this. her parents were proud of her, and announced in the ball one night she would be the next head of silla. in the deafening round of applause, she was the only one unhappy with the decision. so when she told her parents that she didn't want to take over the leading spot, her parents scolded her in front of everyone in the palace, their overflowing disappointment was nothing she wanted, but she knew she would never be happy on the throne. she knew she was not born for the throne, but all she could do now, is to help her family getting the power. a typical princess's fate, she did not want to accept that.

Ever since she rejected the throne, the treatment towards her had changed drastically. her parents started to dismiss her morning greetings, and gave more love and care to the younger princes and princesses. the change was somehow expected, but still disappointing and heartbreaking. even though she was dismissed from the leading spot, it troubled her everyday and night, suffering from the judging eyes and mouths from people around her. she was now 'the not loved princess'. many times she had tried to talk through things with her the man and the first lady, but it was obvious they had pretended to not have her as their daughter, merely a useless princess to be married off to one of the other families. she wanted her parents love, she wanted their compliments, but that was meant to be gone when she had let them down. watching her siblings getting the attention, her self-esteem was hurt but could not be easily told. how could she tell them she couldn't be close to them because she was not loved by their parents? as time passed, she had given up to try mending the relationship between she and the couple, only hoped that she could help her family in the slightest bit.
