Mya grew up in a busy city in Singapore. Her parents were wealthy thanks to their jobs as owners of some of Asia's best cafés, clothing brands and various other things. Mya, as the youngest, was expected to married into some other well off family so her mom hired a nanny to train her to be the perfect wife. Of course Mya didn't want to be a simple housewife.
