Background:

Chaeyoung's father is a very well known phoenix who comes from a rich and high titled family. His family was perfect, loving, caring, all the things some of us wish of families were, but, when her father met a beautiful young faerie that he absolutely fell in love with his family wasn't as...nice.

They rejected the idea of a fine noble phoenix like himself to marry, or worse have a child with any other creature. They forbid him from seeing the faerie, but he didn't listen. The couple would secretly meet up as much as they could. One day the faerie discovered she had become pregnant, she cried and cried knowing she would be cast out that her child would be cast out. She went to the phoenix and told him, he was filled with joy and horror. The two decided they would get married and they immediately did so. Not everything ended happily, the phoenix's parents found out about the marriage and the child, they were furious demanding the child to be killed, but they wouldn't allow it, they both begged and thankfully it worked the child was saved but at a cost, the mother would never be able to see the child, the child, of course, being Chayoung.

Chaeyoung was raised with love, kindness, but also suppression. Suppression of her faerie culture and powers, she was never allowed to use her wings and grew up barely knowing she was a faerie. Whenever she used her faerie side, she was told it was bad and would make her sick. As she grew up things became more clear to her as she was able to mix with more people, she learned on her own that she was a hybrid.

She was born in Atlantis but was always kepy in the shell of only phoenixs'.
