Park Sooyoung was born within the city of Sigil with a singular family of technicians, they are one of the people who are building new models of androids. Sooyoung is their one and only child who was dreaming to be like her mother and father, to be one of the technicians creating androids that people will use when they needed assistance or for their mental health. But at the age of 20, her dream of helping her parents were diminished when Sooyoung tries to sneak in their facility to watch her parent's latest masterpiece. The perfect android they had been working on and named it Joy as the android may only bring happiness towards the people who needed happiness.

However, as they are about to launch the android, it starts acting up and the system has been corrupted by someone, the android attacked their staffs and destroyed the equipments for building androids. Sooyoung interfered and knows how to deactivate the raging android, she didn't listen to her parent's pleading and kept on deactivating the android. Once she had deactivate the android, at the success, the android exploded moments after Sooyoung smiled at her parents. She was one of the few people who are in a 20 meter radius of the explosion and 1/4 of her body was totally burned to crisp.

Her parents tried to saved some of her skin but only her torso and right arm were the ones that stayed, in a desperate attempt to save on what's left of her, they attached the parts of the corrupted android's to her missing parts. She suffered traumatic brain injury from the impact of the explosion which her parents had attached the new AI software into her, in case she had another seizures or any brain complications in the near future or activates her self-defense or combat mode.

After they had finished saving their daughter, they put her to cryosleep and put her emergency camera in case something intrudes in her chamber. During her cryosleep, a group of Golden Dragons infiltrated their facility and tries to get the sleeping cyborg for them to use her for their fortune but was stopped by her parents and tried to chase the group until they were on a gun fight. Her cryo pod had damaged on the way and it automatically stopped the process of her cryosleep. Hearing gunshots, her system started the emergency combat mode where she had eliminated group... as well as her parents.

Sooyoung looked at them emotionlessly as if her brain is restarting. She looked down to see her mother pleading and looking at her with a smile on her face, she remembered her mother and her hands were stained with their blood. She had come to realized what she had done and apologized to them but it was too late, she couldn't cry not even her tears falling from her eyes, her program was not designed to feel grief or sorrow but her brain does and it only emits a wicked laugh even though her mind is grieving for the loss of her parents. She had lost most of her memories and can only remember the fragments of her past.

Few weeks after she had woken up, she was walking through the streets and emotionlessly looking up at the sky and city lights, she doesn't know what to do then but to survive inside the city. Then one member from the Phantom Cobras had been eyeing her ever since she wakes up from her cryosleep and decided to recruit her, but she shows the member how dangerous she is when she almost killed him. Sooyoung was still not believing the offer of the other for her to join the gang, but after a few days she accepted it as she doesn't have any home to live in.

When she was introduced to the Phantom Cobra, she put her into a test on how capable she is. Sooyoung took down 20 of the strong androids they have barehandedly, knowing that Sooyoung's body was 1/4 of cybernetics and reinforced metals. The Phantom Cobra's leader took interest of her and made her an active assassin among their ranks, she took missions that she can only handle alone. The leader had grown attached to her and became one of the leader's closest friends even though Sooyoung doesn't feel in love with the leader, rather she felt that the leader could be trusted and treated them like a friend for five years.

However, after their last call a week ago, she was shocked to hear that their leader has been shot and killed, another series of flashbacks had been running through her mind. She clenched her jaw and tries to control her wicked laugh, a laugh of sorrow as it is still not making her sob or grieve for her friend and their leader. During the funeral, she didn't make any appearance, Sooyoung sat on the edge of a building while still remembering her times with the leader. Out of all the leader's closest friends, Sooyoung had more impact with the news and eventually, she starts to decline any assassinations and starts walking down the path of the shadows, like the snake slithering through the dark corners ready to strike their enemies. That moment, she had threw away her identity as the old Sooyoung and stayed her codename as Joy. The Phantom Cobra, the gang she had lived with for five years has grown into her and will protect them from any threats while still in the shadows.

Personality: Sooyoung was once an average cyborg girl who only wanted to get the job done, she takes lives swiftly and quickly. She takes both high and low profile assassinations and was very generous to the gang as her pay was only 15% of the cut that was given to her but she never complained. After the death of the leader and her close friend, she had gone missing as well but her ties with the gang was still there and only comes to the headquarters rarely whenever they are in danger or whenever she feels like something is up. She was once a talkative cyborg and willing to help anyone.
