Jiyong was the youngest of two born to wealthy parents. He and his sister grew up with everything a kid could ever want and more. The one thing they didn't get was love. They loved each other and did everything together to the point that people thought they had an unnatural relationship, but he loved his sister unconditionally. She was older, but he always looked out for her. When she got married, she showed him what true love looked liked. He thought he was too messed up from their parents to ever really love anyone or be loved, but Dami convinced him to look into an arranged marriage. She didn't want her baby brother to be alone, so he decided to give it a shot.

He has two dogs and he loves kids. He wants kids someday even if he has to adopt. He can be goofy and playful if he knows you pretty well and you're someone he considers a friend, but if not, he can seem closed off. He loves cars, especially sports cars. The antique ones are his absolute favorite. He hates seeing others hurt and he likes to help people even though he may not always know how. His parents gave him a huge trust fund, but he doesn't use the money. He prefers to earn his own by designing and creating clothes. He's done well for himself considering his impressive collection of antique cars. They are his pride.
