more than five years ago, felix was about as aware of himself as a rock is that it's a rock. previously, he was nothing more than an a security bot, purchased to keep a pananoid and angry master safe. the man wanted more than something to check over his cameras for intruders and stand by the door throughout the day - he wanted perfection. felix's limiters and trigger for those limiters were removed. this made him an illegal model, and if anyone were to find out, his master would be in trouble. though that didn't really matter, because the android landed him in trouble regardless. felix was more self aware now. he was starting to feel things that he shouldn't. happiness, sadness, anger, attraction - they were all things he had no prior experience with.

 

 

 

 

 

 

so, when he heard his master complaining about the government- how they were always hiding secrets from their people, how they held so much control but were corrupt, how they wanted to tear him down at any moment - felix was filled with the desire to please. 'i can help!' was the only thought on his mind when he decided to be stupid enough to attack the government's intelligence. the hacking attempt was registered instant;y, and felix fell back with a sharp pain in his head.

 

the next day, felix would face the wrath of his abusive master for the last time. he'd never seen the man so livid. even when he got angry late in the night and had to repair felix, he'd always been more gentle again afterwards. but not this time. when people he now understands were government officials demanding he be taken and destroyed, it was the first time felix felt pure terror. felix's master was facing serious charges, and his creation was facing death. in the midst of it all, felix was thrown out. but instead of waiting loyally by the door, the android started walking. he got on a bus. then a train. then another bus. he ended up in a city, a city called sigil. there, he fell swiftly into debt and joined the ranks of a gang, the phantom cobras, where he accepts hacking jobs from the highest bidders. 

 

recently, in a chance meeting, felix has come face to face with his master again. unable to get his creator out of his head, he begged for a position as the man's assistant, where he is determined to be the item of perfection that he used to.
