youngjae grew up under pretty normal circumstances. at school, he was a class clown, and all in all, he's always been pretty much of a people person.

visiting his cousin seongjun over the weekend, youngjae discovered his quirk a lot later than other people would. their plan was to try out his new gaming console together.
however, a few minutes into the game, the appearance of a monster on the screen came a little too sudden, resulting in youngjae getting startled. the shock made him send a shock through the controller and over to the tv, resulting in it being overcharged - cutting off the power in the entire house for a few seconds. like this, he discovered his quirk, it being- electromanipulation. that was the day youngjae learned about his cousin's power, and a little later, he was taken to the academy by him. ever since then, youngjae became scared of his own powers, and he looks up to seongjun.

generally speaking, youngjae is, wherever he goes, some source of light and energy. people just seem to like him naturally. when he's with people, he has this light and bubbly personality - he takes good care of the people around him, and he would walk through fire for his loved ones. he is very loyal, and he tries his best to show his best side to everyone at all times - a hardworking guy.
there is another side to him, though. there is a sensitive, soft-hearted side to youngjae - there is a deeply scared and hurt side to him. he feels guilty for the powers he has, and ever since he has discovered his powers, he became more careful around people. he gets scared easily, and he always is on alert in order to try to see sudden situations that might catch him off guard coming since they trigger his quirk. it drains him, it really does, but youngjae is scared to hurt other people.

not really tall, not short, either. just your average 19-year old. what stands out, however, is the unusual blond hair - which he chooses to dye every once in a while. what nobody knows - it actually is his natural hair colour. he has auburn eyes, in the light they glow in a yellow-ish gLimmer.

eLectromanipulation. he can create sparks of lightnings and create the so-called "lightning punch", as he calls it. it describes the ability to shoot lightnings from the electrons that surround him. his range is very limited, though, and using his power can seriously hurt him and others if uncontrolled or used too much. as of right now, he can merely throw sparks that are able to fly for 5 meters before they eventually dissolve into thin air.

son seongjun - cousin
seongjun was there when youngjae discovered his quirk. he was really late, and seongjun remained the only family member who knows about his quirk. scared to be a disappointment, he does his very best to make his older cousin, who also is the person he looks up to the most, whom he cherishes the most, proud of him.
