cursed or blessed? seungwoo was born with extreme luck when it came to games but, other than that, there was a lack of it. his home life had bare-bones, if any at all, when it came to affection and warmth. it was a long time coming when he took his few belongings and ran away from home by the young age of fifteen. like many, escaping was the most valuable option, the world was at his fingertips and he could be anything he wanted... but that childish dream came crashing down as reality finally settled in.

he struggled with finding food, easily becoming malnourished and desperate. he was able to feed himself through the day using his gift, sprinkled with some petty crimes. however, his winning streak also landed him into some great trouble as he routinely got beaten to a pulp due to his weaker frame and inability to fairly persuade them to complete the exchange.

he knew that becoming strong would give him an advantage, so he set to bulk himself up and strengthen himself, though it was extremely hard due to his lack of funds. he used as many resources as he could, had some meals at the homeless shelter, and worked some odd jobs involving heavy lifting to create some definition. he was able to save up for a tiny apartment in the outskirts of the city through innocently making a living for himself; however, he wanted more.

gambling only created problems for him but the more he sank, the further realization hit. paranoia, episodes of straight hostility, was the price he had to pay for constantly gambling. during one of his many visits to the local casino, he earned the attention of a mafia boss that wanted to scam him at first but immediately turned the tables around through a game of poker. impressed, he then took seunwoo in as a protégé.

his life was finally starting to look up. an expensive apartment, all the food he wanted, a father figure, and even a family. but it wasn't long before tragedy crept its way back into his life, a few years after they first became acquaintances, the mafia boss then died from a rival gang driveby shooting. he shortly took the reigns after, pretty much leading by the few lessons his predecessor taught him and his own gut feelings.

seungwoo may be scary at first but, surprisingly, he's just shy. as you'd expect, he isn't very much of talker, more of a listener. however, when he wants to voice his opinion, he'll make sure to get the room's attention one way or another. he's rather ruthless when you get to know him. he'd only pull out a weapon if it's his last resort but usually, he talks with his fists especiall when business is involved. he may be in the leaner side of the spectrum but, for some reason, he's pretty strong due to years of training. he has a weakness when it comes to alcohol, bargaining, and games. but careful, he'll do almost anything to win.
