Back in the day Seolhyuns father was one of the first villians to terrorize citizens. But after some time he met Seolhyuns mother. They both fell in love with each other and he decided to give up his villian carrer for her safety. He wanted to life a normal life and have a happy family.

Growing up seolhyuns life wasn´t always easy. As her father previously was a villian he still had some villianous thoughts that, not knowingly,  he tried to reflect on his daughter. She needed to keep herself on the right path. because her mother was a busy woman herself, she couldn´t help her daugther too much. Her father was the one who looked over her most of the day. And he used that time to force her to train her powers from where she still was very young so she can defend herself. At least thats what he told her. Seolhyun was never convinced that self defense was the only reason for her extensive training hours in the day. Especially after he started to show her how to manipulate the water in human bodies. After that she knew that there had to be another reason for the training. Aside from that, seolhyun lived a rather happy and unproblematic life. after she turned twenty though, she started to notice a behavioural change in her father. He slowly started to drift back to his roots under the influence of his former crew. Seolhyun didn´t like that at all so she tried everything in her power to prevent it. but fights started more often, her father had more drunk nightouts with the old crew and she didn´t have a chance to intervene anymore. It stressed her to the point of her finally moving out. But she still kept contact with her parents, especially with her mother. and with 25 years old she decided to join the new hero academy as attempt to throw her father off guard. so he can finally see that he chooses the wrong path again.
