Description
overall, jinyoung's witty and knows how to use his words. he can be playful, touchy, flirtatious, but knows his boundaries and will respect them if he senses something. he's also pretty observant, keen on picking up even the smallest detail.
as the royal advisor, he's learnt to think about things from all perspectives, analysing each and every detail to ensure good results. unlike before, he's now using his knowledge and charms for good.
my younger self that used to smile, i miss you. the young kid that shined bright even though he was small, even if you were normal, you were the world‘s hero. my heart that became cold, please return back my hero. .
loves film, reading, writing, anything that has to do with literature. likes watching the sunrise and sunset.

to be a better person than he was before and to learn from his mistakes.
it was a classic tale of a boy who grew up in a bad family. a family of three, they weren't poor. they were comfortable. jinyoung's father was a knight for the gaya royals. he was barely around for the family but when he was, he was always filled with spite and anger towards his wife and son.
there was abuse; physical and emotional. often times, he blamed jinyoung for having to work so hard at a ty job he despised. instead of quitting, his father formed a rebellion against the gaya house.
jinyoung's mother wasn't any different, she hated jinyoung just as much as his father did. she never stopped the abuse the man gave his own son, instead she condoned it and sometimes even joined in.
the two were the worst but jinyoung had loyalty and love. he tolerated them, tried to be patient, tried to love them despite everything. that is until everything came crashing.
At the young age of 7, jinyoung witnessed his father getting murdered before him for treason against the royal family of gaya.
at 10 years old, his mother gave him up for adoption. he stayed in the system as no one wanted to adopt the kid who betrayed the leading royals on their quest to rule the kingdom.
jinyoung was a golden child. he had the face, the brains, the wit - those attributes was how he stayed floating in the cruel world. he wasn't a saint, no jinyoung was quite the rebel. he'd pickpocket for his allowance, sweet talk waiters into giving him extra meals, got influenced by drugs and alcohol at such a young age, but knew how to work his way around everything.
that is, until he accidentally pick-pocketed a royal advisor of the goguryeo house, a face he hadn't known of because they were from another house.
at 16 years old, jinyoung almost gets thrown into jail. but the advisor, lee taeoh, saw something in him. unlike many others, taeoh not only gave him a second chance, but gave jinyoung a helping hand.
standing right in the police station, ready to be thrown into jail, jinyoung gets told these few words that impacted his entire life.
"son, don't worry. i'll help you."
if someone had told 14 year old petty theft park jinyoung he'd be working for the same type of people who killed his father, he'd laugh at them completely. but 24 year old jinyoung is different. he's grown and has understood how to control his anger and emotions. gone now is the resentment he felt before he got adopted.
at that moment, he hated everything and everyone and was ready to let go of himself. but jinyoung had always believed in fate. and until now, he believes it's the world giving him another chance.
lee taeoh became his saviour and jinyoung couldn't thank his adoptive father any more for being the one to shed light on his dark life. before taeoh, jinyoung was confused, lost, unsure of how else to live without any guidance.
after adopting the boy, taeoh got him back up on his feet. it took some disciplining upon the stubborn boy it alas, jinyoung finally understood the importance of growing up and not resenting your past.
the boy managed to graduate highschool and was put into college under a linguistics degree where he graduated with honors. he worked hard for that, wanting to prove to taeoh that he wasn't a mistake.
i don't have school or work but my muse can be iffy so do expect wonky reply timings.

comfortable with any genre but lack experience with writing action so bear with me if that's what you want to do.
