Michael (Who is as God)

It never pays to sit and gawk at the superficial junk in your life, so don't waste time on the trivial. Focusing instead on what is essential and engaging a probing mind will surely lead you to a new self-awareness. But should that fail, just crank up some music and dance. In other words, keep it pushin.

-Archangel Michael-

Age: Unknown Appearance: 27

Orientation: I'm down for whoever wants to party Statues: It's complicated  Occupation: CEO of the Ivory Press

I was born under the silvery glow of the first moon, its light casting long shadows across the Astral Plane of Lumir. I am Bible, though that name is but a veil for the truth of who I am. My true name, whispered only to the stars and those deemed worthy, is Michael—the Eye’s Right Hand Archangel. I was the firstborn of the Lunar Celestial Gods, the Watchful Moon, Keeper of Balance, and the Eye’s Righteous Blade. My existence has always been defined by duty, though duty itself has not always been kind to me.

As the eldest of my divine kin, I bore the weight of responsibility early. The Eye of Eternity, our all-seeing creator, entrusted me with preserving the delicate equilibrium between realms. To fail was unthinkable; to succeed meant sacrifice. This truth became my creed. It was my strength and my burden.

Namvo, the Demon King, emerged as both my rival and my mirror. Where I was bound by discipline, he reveled in chaos. Where I sought balance, he embraced indulgence. Our conflict was inevitable, a celestial dance of opposites that both repelled and defined us. Yet, even in enmity, I recognized in Namvo a reflection of my own struggles. For as much as I represented order, there were cracks in my perfection, fissures that time and loss widened.

It was in my role as the Eye’s trusted agent that I undertook my most perilous task: infiltrating Namvo’s domain. Adopting the guise of a slave, I walked among his kind, my wings bound, my divine light dimmed. It was a calculated act, yet one that tested every fiber of my being. To live as the very antithesis of what I was required more than subterfuge; it required me to question the limits of my own identity. Did I serve the Eye, or did I serve the idea of perfection that I had cultivated?

There was a time when my heart—long encased in the cold armor of duty—thawed. She was a mortal mage, a woman of extraordinary power and wisdom, charged with a destiny that aligned with the Eye’s grand design. My task was to protect her until her moment of sacrifice arrived. But as I guarded her, I found myself unguarded. Love, a force I had never allowed myself to understand, seeped into the spaces between us. When she disappeared, without warning or trace, it shattered something within me. I had followed every order, upheld every law, yet the Eye’s plan had left me bereft and questioning.

My ambitions grew darker after her loss. Though I remained loyal to the Eye, a part of me began to scheme. Balance, I told myself, was not simply the absence of chaos. It was a force to be controlled, molded to my will. I began to weave a vision of my own, one where the Underworld, ruled with precision and clarity, could serve as a stepping stone to a celestial paradise. Namvo’s realm was ripe for my influence, and I intended to harvest it.

Even now, I am torn. My perfectionism drives me to maintain the fragile truce between Lunar Ascenders and Solar Descenders, but my heart—fractured as it is—yearns for closure. The mortal woman’s absence haunts me, her face a ghostly reminder that I am not as unyielding as I pretend to be. The Eye’s gaze may pierce through all things, but it does not soothe the ache of love lost.

I am Bible, the Watchful Moon, a being of contradictions. My loyalty is unwavering, yet my heart strays. My discipline is unmatched, yet my perfection blinds me to the imperfections that define existence. Namvo and I may stand on opposite sides of this celestial war, but perhaps we are not so different after all. Both of us wrestle with the burdens placed upon us, and both of us, in our own ways, seek a balance that may never come.

As the mists of Heleo swirl and the fragile peace teeters, I ask myself: will I remain the Eye’s righteous blade, or will I forge a new path, one that balances duty with the echoes of my own desires? The answer, perhaps, lies not in the stars above, but in the choices I make below.

Titles
Firstborn of the Lunar Celestial Gods
The Watchful Moon
Keeper of Balance
The Eye’s Righteous Blade

Role and Background

Bible, the firstborn of the Lunar Celestial Gods, stands as the unyielding rival to Namvo, the Demon King. Where Namvo embodies rebellion and indulgence, Bible is a paragon of discipline and order. He conceals his true identity as Michael, the Archangel and trusted agent of the Eye of Eternity. Tasked with spying on Namvo, Bible infiltrated the Demon King’s realm, adopting the guise of a slave to gather intelligence and monitor compliance with the fragile truce.

Driven by a relentless sense of duty, Bible represents the epitome of Lunar virtues—sacrifice, devotion, and perfection. He sees himself as a servant of the Eye’s greater design, but his perfectionism often isolates him, creating tension even within his own family.

Personality

Bible is a meticulous, goal-oriented perfectionist with an unshakable belief in the divine order. Cunning and intelligent, he excels in spiritual studies, combat, and military strategy. His natural charisma and charm allow him to inspire loyalty, though his high standards often alienate those who fail to meet his expectations.

Despite his disciplined exterior, Bible harbors a softer, more vulnerable side. He once fell deeply in love with a mortal mage woman, tasked with protecting her until her sacrifice would serve the gods’ plan. When she vanished without explanation, it shattered his faith in both himself and the Eye of Eternity. This loss haunts him, driving his secret ambitions to uncover her fate while maintaining his public allegiance to the Eye.

Goals and Motivations

  • Primary Goal: Return his Lunar family to the Astral Plane of Lumir and restore their celestial status.
  • Personal Conflict: Uncover the truth behind the disappearance of his mortal lover and reconcile his betrayal of divine orders.
  • Hidden Agenda: Secure control of the Underworld from within, promising loyal followers a celestial paradise while secretly consolidating power to enact his own vision of balance.

Key Traits

  • Relentlessly Loyal: Bible remains steadfast in his devotion to the Eye of Eternity, even as doubts linger in his heart.
  • Master Manipulator: Skilled in politics and strategy, Bible has quietly orchestrated the deaths of key rivals to maintain stability between realms.
  • Torn by Love and Duty: His love for the mortal mage woman introduced a human vulnerability that complicates his divine mission.

Abilities

  1. Flight: Graceful and swift, Bible’s wings embody the ethereal beauty of Lunar Celestials.
  2. Heightened Senses: Enhanced sight, hearing, and intuition allow him to perceive danger and hidden truths.
  3. Teleportation: Bible can traverse vast distances in the blink of an eye, a gift that aids his covert missions.
  4. Combat Mastery: Trained in celestial warfare, he wields a dual-bladed staff infused with divine energy.
  5. Hyper Healing: Bible’s wounds heal almost instantaneously, making him a near-immortal force on the battlefield.

Weaknesses

  • Unyielding Standards: Bible’s perfectionism can blind him to the nuances of human emotion and imperfection.
  • Haunted by Love: The unresolved mystery of his lover’s disappearance fuels a quiet obsession that sometimes clouds his judgment.
  • Inner Conflict: Torn between his duty to the Eye and his personal desires, Bible’s duality leaves him vulnerable to manipulation.

Bible’s Role in the Heleo Conflict

As Namvo’s equal in strength and wit, Bible serves as a counterbalance to the Demon King’s chaos. While publicly upholding the truce between Lunar Ascenders and Solar Descenders, Bible secretly maneuvers to tip the scales in favor of his own vision of a balanced world. His actions shape the fragile peace of Heleo, where every decision could reignite the flames of war.
